NJ Blogger Was On FBI Payroll As Informant

It's come to light that a controversial NJ-based blogger accused of making death threats against three Federal appeals court judges was also on the FBI payroll for years up until 2008. He appears to have been used as an informant on potential domestic terrorist groups.

He used his website to establish his credibility, often posting content to incite those same groups. The FBI is said to have had concerns over his content even as he was being paid. NJ Governor-elect Christie may also find himself caught up in the case as a result of previous Federal work. The FBI isn't commenting. But this one may prove to be a real hoot when it goes to trial.

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- A New Jersey blogger about to stand trial on charges he made death threats against federal judges apparently was paid by the FBI in its battle against domestic terrorism, according to a published report.

The Record of Bergen County reported Sunday that Hal Turner received thousands of dollars from the FBI to report on neo-Nazis and white supremacist groups and was sent undercover to Brazil.

Turner also claims the FBI coached him to make racist, anti-Semitic and other threatening statements on his radio show, but the newspaper also found many federal officials were concerned that his audience might follow up on his violence rhetoric.

The newspaper reviewed numerous government documents, e-mails, court records and almost 20 hours of jailhouse interviews with Turner.

Exactly. Name the last neo-Nazi or white supremacist terrorist incident that occurred. You can't. There's almost no there there.

In the meantime, there is another sort of "domestic" terrorist incident that does occur and kills real people. And the media and government can't seem to find the time to actually investigate it, get to the bottom of it, and tell the truth about it. And call it what it is. Mark Steyn has an excellent column about it.

Apparently the FBI didn't just foment domestic unrest by infiltrating radical anti-war groups and demonstrations in the 60s; they are still fomenting domestic unrest. How many undercover FBI agents were carrying LaRouche and Nazi signs on 9/12? How many FBI agents are 9/11 Truthers? Is the FBI officially now part of the problem rather than the solution? Soon they'll match Climategate pseudo-scientists in the credibility wars.

There are a lot of neo-Nazis and extreme nutjobs trolling the conservative groups on Facebook; we're running into them more and more. How many of these are actually FBI agents as well as WH-paid agent provocateurs? How many FBI agents and lefties are trying to foment such domestic unrest that martial law actually does get justified by our criminally stupid AG Holder? Am I needlessly paranoid? Oh, and let's not forget that Ruby Ridge was the result of entrapment by a DEA informant over a couple of sawed-off shotguns. This ain't new.

I have to wonder just what a "potential domestic terrorist group" might be. The definition might be as nebulous as Janet Napolitano's idea of a "rightwing extremist."

I don't think I know of any likely candidates. Even our Muslims are, in the main, not particularly homicidal. (Major Nidal doesn't constitute a group.)
