Former Speaker Gingrich Hears Us Now!

Oh ouch. Five hundred comments and counting on Newt's revided and revised, again Dede Scozzafava post. Welcome to the give and take of the new media age, Speaker Gingrich. It means everyone gets to speak for a change! A few samples from the very top:

Newt, once you started cavorting with Nancy Pelosi on the couch, I knew you had gone off the deep end.

You were once MY CONGRESSMAN. Your missguided original endorsement was the worst mistake of your career.

I entered the Marine Corps during the G.H.W. Bush administration and was serving when Speaker Newt led the Republican Revolution of 1994. When I left active service two years later, I returned to Atlanta, where I attended Newt's appearances at the Chamber of Commerce breakfasts.

Newt, I have lost all respect for you. Today, my congressional representative, Bob Inglis, and one of my senators, Lindsey Graham, call themselves Republicans but have little concern for conservatism or the principles of the Founders. Both went to Washintgon with you in 1994 as fellow revolutionaries.

"MoveOn.org is sending out emails today seeking more contributions for its campaign to defeat any Democratic senator who does not fully support Obamacare. Yesterday the left-wing activist group asked members to contribute "to a primary challenge against any Democratic senator who helps Republicans block an up-or-down vote on health care reform." Today, MoveOn reports that it has received $2 million in pledges in less than 24 hours. "It's a clear sign of how angry progressives would be at any Democrat who helps filibuster reform," MoveOn executive director Justin Ruben writes in the new email."

Bwahahahahahahahahaha. Looks like both the Republicans AND the Democrats are... kicking Democrats out of their party!
