The Deeds Is Done In Virginia?

Geez, Louise - this last poll doesn't make it look like defeat. It's looks like a frickin' pounding at this point.

ARLINGTON, Va. - With one week until Virginia's gubernatorial election, an exclusive poll for WJLA-TV shows Republican Bob McDonnell retaining his commanding lead. The SurveyUSA poll dated Oct. 27 shows McDonnell with a 17-point lead over Democrat Creigh Deeds, 58-41. McDonnell maintains his lead across most demographics, including age, sex and income. Independents are breaking 2-1 for McDonnell, 60-38.

And Obama insisted it's because the guy didn't listen to him? lol What a joke. Ever since he was elected, have you noticed Obama is making enemies everywhere he goes except in the MiddleEast?

How long before the bottom drops out on him and the Democrats due to his exterme socialist views?

didn't realize that these two guys, deeds and mcdonnell had gone head to head, in 2005.

at the time of the election, bush was half-way into freefall on approval numbers, with the election coming right after katrina.

mcdonnell wins by 300 votes, out of 1.9 million.

here we are, 4 years later, and mcdonnell is trouncing deeds. I'm looking for the "terminal defect" to explain deeds drop off, and none seem apparent, aside from the obvious, "messiah".

interesting that the negatives of bush are proving of less import than the negatives of obama. This is a state that obama had won by almost the same margin as bush in 04.

in 04, 8 of 11 of the reps from VA were gop.

This deeds loss is going to be devastating for virginia democrats.
