Interesting. Professor Stephen Schneider of Stanford is now an Al Gore protege. He was even with him when he heard he won the Nobel Peace Prize for pushing global warming theory. But Schneider was a The planet is cooling guy back in the seventies. He agreed to participate in a documentary. But it seems that when it came out they were going to reveal his changing positions, Standford threatened to sue and permission to use the video with him was rescinded. A short YouTube video sums it up. So much for open discussion in education today, especially when it comes to the climate.

When you can't refute the science, attack the man.
P.S. The planet was being cooled by anthropogenic aerosol emissions in the '70s - which was masking global warming, exactly as Schneider described in his paper. - but you'd need to be capable of joined up thinking and be willing to read some *science* to know that.

Oh! to be a student in one of Prof. Schneider's classes!
Nah! I'd probably need body armour!
