"some cynics would say we need to be careful what we're uniting around"

After hitting several conservative blogs today, I'd venture that "cynics" is too exclusive/limiting. There are numerous debates, across the "right" spectrum; re conservative vs GOP, how the GOP has neglected conservatives (their historic base) and gone "squishy"/left to get re-elected, and a raging debate over demanding ideological purity for GOP or else (starting a 3rd party) vs a big tent that allows the entry of the Dedes of the world.

There's plenty time for the GOP to wake up and start listening to their base. If the GOP doesn't start triangulating their candidates/messages more to the right, their hoped for 2010 & 2012 gains will be greatly reduced.

There's an enraged conservative electorate out there, that just may, get off their asses, get involved beyond a "check", and create another Perotista movement that gave Clinton two Presidencies. Ignore this at your own risk.

Doug Hoffman-he is neither a lawyer or a law professor.

To me this is the ultimate definition of 'Going Rogue' against Big Government tyranny.

Look at what controls Washington DC, the Party of Insta-Lawyers who are destroying our Liberty and seizing our rights; they do not serve Justice, they serve themselves.
