Funny that the AP didn't reveal this guy's name. Here it is. U.S. Capitol Police officer Thomas Patrick McMahon was arrested for unlawfully entering a North Virginia woman's home and passing out drunk on her bed while she was out. Currently on unpaid administrative leave, the WH is encouraging McMahon to apply for the position of Home Security czar in the Obama administration. If they're going to be embarrassed over any more czars, they figure they may as well get it over with right up front to confront continued questions swirling around their vetting process.

The man is lucky he was not shot. Bring asleep and drunk in the wrong house in Virginia is dangeous. Many a drunk invading a wrong house have been shot and killed by the homeowner as justified self defense.
