We already know there's an assault on the private sector going on. The socialists in DC now seem intent on destroying the private economy, co-opting as much of it as they can under government control. That's what good socialists do, after all.
Well, under the radar, Obama is looking to co-opt America's philanthropic structure, as well. All your capital, it belongs to me!
Lots of attention—appropriately—is being paid to the federal government’s new, extended reach into the private economy, setting salaries and owning auto companies. But, beneath the radar, a combination of Obama Administration initiatives is extending government influence over philanthropy and charitable organizations, as well.
