Geez. Sir Michael Barone? ha! Could it get any worse for Scozzafava? Damn, that's bad. He's not some average political hack.
“The Republican candidate, Dede Scozzafava, is a pretty dodgy character from a Republican point of view,” said Barone. “I mean, this is a woman who was endorsed by the Working Families Party, which is basically front for ACORN … As we’ve seen, it’s an organization whose organizations have systematically aided and abetted child prostitution, as reported in the videos that Fox News ran — that other networks were finally forced to run, that Andrew Breitbart put on the Big Government Website. There is some reason for principled Republicans not to back the Republican nominee in a situation like that.”

This thing is hopefully a huge blessing-in-disguise, a watershed mos. before midterms- the timing is great to shake things up on a number of levels before those campaigns are underway in earnest.
And it now looks like Dede will be lucky to end up in double-digits, the way things are going-
Go Doug Hoffman!!!

One almost wonders how she picked up the Republican Nomination in the first place if she's such a left-wing radical.
Hehe, Go Dough Hoffman, indeed! Best thing that's happened to the Democratic Party since Perot.

My fear is that being so well connected with Acorn and the Unions that she may be able to pull out a win. Any thoughts?

STM, the morons on the Left are going to wonder what the hell hit them when the next election cycle is over, starting next week and continuing through 2010. Damn, it's going to be sweet. We won't have to put up with the moronic convergence for quite a while, as they will be in the closet biting their feet off. Hahaha!

Doubt that, jd. More likely to support the Dem and give them the win.

Dan,
For the Left it is always Nov. 4, 2008.
They have never accepted that polls and people change upon hearing our non-Executive, non-coalition builder President betray all his campaign promises.
Post racial? HA. That was lost on a doorstep in Cambridge and every leftie who yells "Raaaaacist," at every opposition to Obama.
Post-partisan? President Clinton in his first helped enacted NAFTA which was a GOP issue; President Bush spent his first year lobbying to make Senator Ted kennedy's bill, NCLB a reality. What has Obama done for the other side?
The Left is still running against President Bush -- he is their Emmanuel Goldstein. And the treatment the Left and the media gave to Senator McCain means that the GOP does not need to send out moderates either. they get treated the same as Bush.
Let the left keep on thinking it's still November 2008. The Conservatives will move into the future without them.
