I can appreciate that Senator Lindsey Ghraham is probably a very busy man. I can appreciate that John McCain might need someone beside him at times to keep him from wandering off, softly babbling to himself. Heck, we saw that in the 2008 Town Hall debate when Senator McCain appeared to forget there was a television camera in the room and went off and on about who knows what!
And as for television cameras, how many would go begging if this cross between Jughead and Opie with a worse haircut didn't show up to put down conservatives within the GOP? Still, even given all that responsibility, it would be nice if he started showing up to do the job the citizens of America actually pay him to do. If he has time, of course. After all, he is a Senator and all that. Anyone know if they list that gig at the SC unemployment offices? I've never truly understood how he came to be one in the first damned place.
How bad is Graham’s attendance? The Committee meets practically every Thursday morning. Graham has attended only 5 meetings this year. Al Franken, who joined the Committee in late July, has already attended 7 meetings. Graham has attended only 2 meetings since Franken joined the Committee and he did not do Republicans any favors in one of those. On July 28, he showed up to tell the other six Republicans that elections matter and that he was casting his vote for Sonya Sotomayor to be the next Justice on the United States Supreme Court. If Graham had had the courage to vote no and had not basically gone down and kissed Sotomayor during her confirmation hearing, perhaps Republicans could have put up a better fight.

so what is lindsey doing when not in committee, comparing pant leg creases with david brooks or giving sandford marriage advice? sc has a growing conservative party movement, as well as is conducting a rhino excorcism in the greenville spartanburg area (uh oh inglis -mr. talk smack about beck limbaugh and castle). lindsey might find himself less ballsy next town hall meeting when he is telling his constituents to leave if they don't like it, especially when they start asking him what exactly he is doing when not doing what he was elected and is being paid to do. its bad when folks in sc voted for mccain just on the hopes that he would win and make lindsey the ag and rid them of his stench before his next election. i smell another democratic defection in 4 years.

Spelling correction: that's "defecation".

Please...please...my friends in So. Carolina, diselect(is that a word) this moron as quickly as possible. I cannot think of another Republican who has done as much damage to the nation as Lindsey Graham. From Guantanamo to cap and trade, he is usually on the wrong side, and he has a nasty habit of cooperating with the opposition on issues that really matter, such as cap and trade.

So where is he when he's not where he's supposed to be? Maybe he's courting Sotomayor??

You know, I asked that same question about the whereabouts Graham and someone, maybe on this blog said,"about 5 inches up McCain's (fourth point of contact."
This guy flits around, oh about like that dunce in the WH. He isn't using a VC35 like the once, but you can bet he's on the taxpayer's dime.
I'm guessing x11 is also a Carolinian as he sure has our so-called representation pegged. You know, like Inglis being on the list of congressional DO NOTHINGS. Hopefully x11 and I, along with a few more from the upstate can change things.
I'm voting for Gowdy, personaly.

Oops different game, different woman. Are you trying to tell me that John McCain is a homosexual?
