It seems rather curious to me that just as Obama's Chicago machine moves into New Jersey, we start to see the very first ominous signs of potential voter fraud there. Yes, I definitely question the timing on this. See Jim Geraghty for the entire report. It isn't as if NJ doesn't know how to rig an election. But I suspect Obama's team is even more skilled than that, unfortunately.
Paul P. Josephson, a lawyer representing the New Jersey Democratic State Committee, wrote to Secretary of State Nina Mitchell Wells, asking her to “instruct County Clerks not to deny (vote by mail) applications on the basis of signature comparison alone.”
Democrats have never made this request before, not even in 2008, where many more New Jersey residents were voting through absentee ballots. Of course, that year Democrats Barack Obama and Frank Lautenberg were expected to win the statewide races handily.
Last year, the state party had no objections to the actions of county clerks; now, the party's counsel fears that the county clerk staff “may be overworked and are likely not trained in handwriting analysis.” Strangely, these same county clerk staffers managed to handle this year’s primary elections in New Jersey without any major complaints.
The fears of absentee ballot fraud in New Jersey is not theoretical or far-fetched. Earlier this year, Atlantic City Councilman Marty Small and 13 people who worked on his unsuccessful mayoral campaign “were indicted on charges they conspired to commit election fraud during the June Democratic primary through a variety of schemes involving messenger absentee ballots, state Attorney General Anne Milgram announced in Trenton.” One of those workers has already pled guilty. Five workers were indicted on similar charges in Essex County in August.
Suspicious minds see the letter as an attempt to create a pool of emergency votes to be used if Christie holds a small lead on Election Night. The Secretary of State has not yet responded to the Democrats’ request.

I suppose it's too much to hope that the Secretary of State responds with a brief note denying the request that goes a little something like this.
Mr. Josephson:
Please accept my most sincere apologies for the delay
in responding to your request. However, recent events
serve as a reminder that our County Clerks need to remain
stalwart in their efforts to combat possible fraud.
Of course, even in the best of circumstances your request
for unusual leniency regarding ballot accuracy could be
found rather suspect.
Sincerely,
Nina Wells
New Jersey Secretary of State

I maintain this voter fraud needs to be one of the major issues the GOP and conservatives hammer on for the foreseeable future. If we can't stop the fraud, there is no way we can win.
For heaven's sake, Coleman WON in Minnesota, but the Franken campaign managed to finagle enough votes to win. We cannot ALLOW this to continue.
That said, I'm not sure how to prevent it without requiring ID to vote. I'm all for that, but it seems to be a losing issue. Not sure why.. oh wait. No one wants to keep folks for voting multiple times for their fave candidate.
It's sick!!! This country truly has gone to he!!. I hope we can get it back.

"If we can't stop the fraud, there is no way we can win."
It will be interesting to see. But I am reminded somehow of communist takeovers in other lands: If they couldn't get it by the ballot they got it by fraud. If not by fraud then at the end of a barrel.

Yeah, they need to create an "emergency vote reserve" just in case they lose by a thin margin. Sort of like "finding" ballots in the trunks or back seats of cars in Minnesota days after the election and the couple thousand dead voters whose votes counted.
The Democrats are absolutely the most corrupt political institution this country has seen in a century or more. They need to be fired at EVERY level of government; municipal, county, state, and federal.

Can anyone prove to me there is Fraud? Other then someone trying to register voters at the same address.
Did anyone find someone actually voted twice?
There is proven cases where the election official is Republican and the precincts in minority areas were given only a few machines while the suburbs got more then enough.
Please stop drinking the cool-aid and use facts.
