They aren't just doctors, they also got to play one on TV. I'm beginning to think Obama's entire president is just a cruel stunt on the American people.
The physicians, all invited guests, were told to bring their white lab coats to make sure that TV cameras captured the image. But some docs apparently forgot, failing to meet the White House dress code by showing up in business suits or dresses. So the White House rustled up white coats for them and handed them to the suited physicians who had taken seats in the sun-splashed lawn area.
Great! Obama's first official health care give away. One-hundred and fifty doctors get brand new smocks courtesy of the American taxpayer and all we have to show for it is an acting commander-in-chief who rehearsed all his life to play a president on television and he can't even remember his lines without a teleprompter.
If this were a play, the touring company never would have made it to DC. Can I get my money back, now, please?
And the slow parade of tears ... continues. Ugh!
For some reason I am hearing circus music as the official theme song of this White House.

its sad to watch the office of the president being reduced to a comedy skit where the main writter is obama. he has some shat pr people who either think its obama and everyone will buy it, or they are burnt out and just collecting a check? my fear is what if this is obama's best what's the next 3 years going to look like?

When Airforce One flew low over Manhattan and freaked out the citizens on the streets - it was a big "joke".
They could have photoshopped the plane flying over of Statue of Liberty...
NO!
They were filming the horrified reactions of the people below looking up at the plane in terror!
They think Americans are STOOPID with two O's!!

I have shared the fact with the regulars here that I work in Radiation Physics treating cancer patients. This just made me think of the patients that I work with that whenever they see a man wearing a labcoat the first reaction is "doctor"! This applies to any male staff member wearing a labcoat. The "image" of a man in a labcoat is instantly connected to "doctor".
This administration is all about "image" but there is no "there", there!! A media crafted Bozo the clown gets elected with the same mind frame that my patients use to identify "doctor" with the lab coat.
Time to wake up America and see through the MTV style media crafted campaign! This country is at a point where we see an image as something real!
It's hard to imagine this dipshit "community organizer" wearing his little labcoat as someone even remotely qualified to perform open heart surgery on our energy, economic and healthcare systems!
Image!! Image!! Image!!, who needs something real anymore when we have "the One" to lead us!!

I like that they had extra coats on hand for the doctors who forgot theirs. It shows Team Obama is capable of learning. A couple months ago those coatless doctors would have been shown the door lest they muck up the photo-op.
So this White House can get better. All is not absolutely hopeless.

He made them wear the labcoats so that we'd notice that they were Dr.s. Get it? If he didn't do that, and he had nothing to add to his already tired ideas about healthcare, then what would have been the point of the meeting? On one level it worked because it was so stupid, that people noticed it! Otherwise, the whole meeting would have been for nothing. Next to nothing is better than nothing in their eyes I guess.
It's sad.

Do we have the names of those doctors who spoke? I was just thinking of the cases of fake doctors at town hall meeting. It would be great if one of the doctors speaking for Obama-Care was a fake doctor.

I heard one of the doctors interviewed. What a liar! She denied that they received labcoats, said they all brought their own, and that she saw no one without a labcoat. She went on to falsely claim that medicare pays for everything and that all doctors take and prefer medicare patients. What a nut.
She was female and her name sounded like, Krauthammer.
