This is rich. HuffPo claims that the Internets are freaking out because of a not new newly discovered video of Glenn Beck applying vapor rub to elicit tears for a photo shoot.

Media Bistro had the clip on Sept. 18. So what? It was for a magazine cover. You're going to have to do better than that, guys. If that's all ya got, the Left is in more trouble than I thought.

It gets even better. Way back when the photos were new the photographer, Jill Greenberg*, said in an interview that they used vapor rub to get him to cry for the the pics and that he was a "great sport" about it.
Takig pics of people crying is Greenberg's specialty- http://www.mahalo.com/jill-greenberg

So you think Glenn Beck just normally ups and cries on his tv show? Huh.
Isn't he a grown man? Lindsay Graham had it right.

Awww, come on Janet. Where's your sensitive side? You're not one of the haters are you?

As someone who's not even a girl who occasionally has trouble holding back tears for the strangest reasons, I do honestly believe Beck's tears on his show are genuine and are not something he WANTS to happen. I feel them coming also as I hear him talk about certain things, as I'm sure do many other people.
It happens at the movie theatre. I don't WANT to have to walk out in the lighted crowds with red puffy eyes, but I can't help it. It happens when I hear Lee Greenwood sing "God Bless the USA". It happens when I talk to my dad about how proud I was of him when he saved a crash victim from a burning car as everyone else was standing around.
It's embarrassing, but it's also quite uncontrollable.

Remember when Bill Clinton cried at Normandy when he picked up the (planted) rock.

Nothing wrong with tears. I get 'em every time I see the towers in a movie. Every. Single. Time.
I also get real quiet, and real mad. AJ knows why now -- he's old enough to know there are bad people in the world -- and when he sees me he hugs me and says, "It's okay, Daddie, they're in heaven now."
Dammit. Got some now.

This is nothing new. I heard ages ago that Beck put vapo rub on his face to make him cry. One time Beck referred to himself as part rodeo clown, this was the sort of thing he was talking about. I can't believe the left is just now finding this out.

Vaporub, huh? I can remember reading about actors puting specks of ground black pepper under their lower eyelids to get the tears flowing.
Vaporub? Wouldn't it show, I've used in so I could breathe when I had a cold. Matter of fact I remember back when I was a little boy my Momma used to rub it on my chest when I had a cold. It was always kind of shiny. Ah, what do I know. when I wanted somebody to cry I'd rap them 'cross the shins a couple times with my riot stick.
Now that I'm old I'm with AJs Daddy, lots of things make my eyes leak a bit.
