I agree that there are interesting dots to connect here, but I disagree completely on your assessment of Obama. Personally, I believe he leans heavily to the side of those opposing Israel and that he will rationalize any stance he takes as being in step with the logic coming out of the Arab world that a Muslim bomb is necessary because of Israel's supposed possession of nukes

Time -- and a short time at that -- will tell whether you or I are right in our analysis.

Hey Phil
Israel is a nuclear power and Pakistan aint Mormon

Also, I remember a woman on Fox & Friends not too long ago appealing to Dinnerjacket to meet with her while he was in NYC for the UN Gadaffi dinner theatre about her missing husband in Iran:
"The US is seeking information from Iran about a former FBI agent who was reported missing while on a business trip." 2007

-- Bob Levinson disappeared on March 9, 2007 in Kish Island, Iran.

Furthermore, Obama has to keep Iran in play. Like all carney people, Obama wont hit the road again until spring; Cap'n Trade. He's got to have something to occupy his teleprompter through winter so healthcare will take him to the New Year, and since Afghanistan closes up terrorist auditions till spring, he's got the winter to rearrange those deck chairs. Russia will cut off winter gas for troops in AfPak. I want to know what's in store for reelection. Will he stress domestic policy or his foreign policy 'success' with Iran?

"Hey Phil

It's a pretty sure thing that Israel is nuclear-- but not proved nor self admitted, hence supposed. Pakistan is not Arab, although it is Muslim. Why don't you tell the Arabs their logic is flawed?

You are assuming--incorrectly, IMHO, Dan--that Barry-boy is an American-Muslim, rather than a Muslim-American!
Apropos that first sentence-you write as though his priority is, first, HealthCare and second Iranian Nuclear Proliferation. Again, I beg to differ, if not on content then certainly on order!
"Morality", said Asa Briggs, my old History Professor, "is but a preoccupation with priorities". We shall soon see whether Barry-boy cares more for his American children than he does for his brethren in the Umma!
Finally, if Iran has indeed "surrendered" on what it has always called its "inalienable right, national pride and energy future", ie it has given up its pursuit of an advanced nuclear research programme, this would be a massive victory, not to mention an existential relief, for Israel. Now this MUST be playing on A'jad's mind, as it must be on Barry-boy's!
Israel safe and triumphant?--not on his watch!
To sum up: IF dropping four BIG BOMBS on Iran's nuclear facilities were enough to garner enough Republican support to pass Healthcare, would this be a no-brainer for Barry-boy?
My answer: Like Hamlet, who doesn't know whether to kill h1s step-father for a murderer; to kill his mother for a whore; or to kill himself so that all earthly travails will cease--Barry-boy will do NOTHING for as long as he can, and pray that some Deus ex Machina, some cartoonish Pythonesque deliverance, will come in time to save him!

Well, if Obama does nothing, then he will have stumbled into the correct course of action.
