As I sad yesterday, everyone but Obama seems to have made up their mind one way, or another. No problem. He's only the C-I-C. Yuck!
BRATISLAVA, Slovakia (AP) - U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Friday that NATO allies are moving toward sending more troops and civilian aid to Afghanistan.
Gates said he was "heartened" by allies' commitment to the 8-year-old war even as the Obama administration mulls whether to order tens of thousands more U.S. troops to the fight. The Pentagon chief cited a long-term commitment by NATO partners to remain in Afghanistan until the conflict is successfully resolved.

This is being hailed as a triumph for O. But look closer, these are merely nice words until they actually provide troops.
It is a little like the agreement with Iran about nuclear matters. Nothing to it until Iran actually does something. They haven't even formally approved it yet and are hinting they will not. Stalling has worked so far, why would they change?
Well we shall soon see about both matters.
