Credit where credit is due. Ed O'Keefe, unlike some liberal bloggers, knows how to read. I'm in no way seeing this as an endorsement of the post I made by O'Keefe, or the Post. No one should think that. But he points out an unfortunate fact for liberals, as of now, no one knows for certain why Sparkman was killed.
Ed O'Keefe: Note what this author says at the outset of his piece:
"I have no idea what happened, but from the reporting I've seen, neither does anyone else."
This is why -- in regards to the previous question -- we cannot say he was targeted because of his federal employment or for any other reason.

The entertaining part is that we have all these liberals here trying to accuse Riehl of pedophilia while you can flip on the TV and watch them proclaim that drugging and having sex with underage children isn't a bad thing.
http://hotair.com/archives/2009/09/29/video-whoopi-says-polanski-didnt-commit-rape-rape/
In short, Barack Obama and his minions are trying to besmirch conservatives by accusing them of something that Barack Obama and his minions don't think is wrong.
That makes no sense whatsoever -- unless you consider the fact that Barack Obama's morality and principles only exist in regards to other peoples' behavior, and not his own. He and his party oppose other people having sex with children, but when it's one of their own, they fully endorse and support it.

See NDT, the trick is, you just have to keep sharpening the stick for when they come back! lol Why they even bother after all these years amazes me. Sadly, I don't think they can deal with people who don't back down. Bunch of freaking wussies, libs today.

"Because Whoopi Goldberg said something about Roman Polanski, purple monkey banana telephone, liberals support child molestation, gabba gabba huh."
Oh, you can be more precise than that.
Whoopi Goldberg stated that drugging a thirteen-year-old girl and having sex with her twice, ignoring her protestations, does not constitute rape.
Melissa Gilbert stated that the fact that the child's mother happened to be in the house at the time makes a difference.
And oddly enough, this support of rape and rapists seems to be quite common among Barack Obama and his supporters.

The interesting part, again, is that Barack Obama screamed that Glenn Beck raped a woman without any proof whatsoever and claimed that was a bad thing -- while Barack Obama and his fellow liberals are trying to get out of prison a man who bound, gagged, and tied up a woman so badly that her skin swelled and they had to cut her out when she was found.
Obviously, liberals don't oppose rape of any kind. In fact, liberals openly agitate to get rapists out of prison.

"we cannot say he was targeted because of his federal employment or for any other reason."
No, but we can make up ridiculous and needlessly defamatory stories about dead people all we want.
Then, instead of just admitting that we're putrescent piles of monkeyshit, we can get all upset at liberals. How dare they call us out on our totally-made-up theories about how some murdered guy was actually a pederast? They have no class at all, unlike us.
Crimeblogging is very difficult!

LONDON, Ky. — The son of a U.S. Census Bureau worker found hanging from a tree in eastern Kentucky with the word "fed" scrawled on his chest said Tuesday he has no doubt his father was slain.
Josh Sparkman told The Associated Press in a phone interview that he is frustrated investigators have not ruled out suicide or accidental death.
"I look at it as disrespectful to be still throwing suicide and accident around," he said. "He didn't do this to himself. That's dishonorable. My dad was a good man. No person on this planet is going to fight cancer like he did, then turn around and kill himself a year or so later."
osh Sparkman, 19, said he learned of his father's death Sept. 13, a day after his body was found. Bill Sparkman adopted him when he was a baby.
"I completely broke down," Josh Sparkman said. "It's always just been me and my dad. It's all I have, and I don't have him anymore. I'm just kind of by myself."
No new insinuations about the young man's father today?
It's a slow news day and I could use some more of your "I'm just sayin'" wit and wisdom.

There is also this from the same article:
Kentucky State Police Maj. Lynn Cross said he has "full and complete" faith in the investigation after reviewing the case Monday with Capt. Lisa Rudzinski, commander of the detachment investigating Sparkman's death. He declined to divulge details from the briefing.
"The son may or may not know all these things," Cross said. "I doubt that he knows a lot of stuff that the investigators know. He probably shouldn't know at this current time, but there will be a time when he will be advised of it."
Perhaps all of the pundits pontificating about right-wing anti-government mania or drug/meth cartels causing this death "may or may not know all these things", either. Just wondering out loud about that.
Also, why isn't the FBI investigating this case, if this death happened while he was on census duty?

As you decided to respond to Ed Brayton on his blog, I thought I'd copy my points here:
Yep. Ed O'Keefe makes the point that no-one knows why he was killed, for sure. Which is why HE is not engaging in rampant speculation. Unlike you. You see no shame whatsoever in publicly tarring this guy's name with the 'paedophile' brush, based on no real evidence whatsoever. The fact that even you admit this is nothing more than speculation makes your actions more abhorrent, not less, as it makes it clear you know there is nothing suggesting this guy was a paedophile, but you're suggesting that anyway.
What if I, or better yet, someone with a known and established blog, like Ed here, were to start making blog posts, based on very little, if any evidence, like 'Is Dan Riehl a Child Rapist?' Would you find that offensive? Would that anger you? I'm betting it would. This is what you're doing to this guy, except with the important distinction that you would at least have an opportunity to defend yourself. Mr. Sparkman doesn't.
