Well, this is an interesting change. The Leftist Nation profiled Ron Bloom. It isn't in Google cache, but read the wording Google first picked up when indexing the article in the image below. That would be "labor activist".
But that's not what The Nation is claiming today. For some reason, it was watered down just a bit. Why?
Ron Bloom has the sophistication of a Wall Street financier, but the head and heart of a labor guy.
h/t Instapundit - more via JWF. Is activist the new liberal?
Update: Yes, they took out I-banker for Investment Banker from that bit, as well. Too much of a pejorative? Nothing like cleaning up the media for the government's behalf. That's a typical Leftist ploy, see Pravda. The article definitely looks scrubbed to make Bloom look at least a little more capital friendly, in my opinion.
No mention of an updated text below the item. Hmm.

These two index pages still have the write up containing "I-banker" and "labor activist". But the linked article is the rewritten one.

Yep. Too inflammatory for someone. But the author is a senior writer, not some young web hack. I assume he knows what an activist is.
William Greider, a prominent political journalist and author, has been a reporter for more than 35 years for newspapers, magazines and television. Over the past two decades, he has persistently challenged mainstream thinking on economics.

"union" is becoming a dirty word in politics.
given the preferential treatment given to unions thus far, this guy is rather scary.

Ron Bloom received an M.B.A. from the Harvard School of Business.
I take this to mean he will obey Harvard Law's Constitution while betray the United States Constitution.
At the risk of being deemed a conspiracy nut by the Higher than Thou, I must question Harvard's tyrannical regime; the creeps are coming out of the Harvard's finely-crafted woodwork by overwhelming leaps and bounds.

syn,
Haaaarvard or Yale it doesn't matter.
Regarding Bloom - There are blanks to be filled in. He may not have moronic statements all over you-tube like that last moron czar. However, if he attracted the attention of this administration (and was put in a job with no vetting) then he likely has some nutty stuff in his background. It is obvious that this administration gravitates towards the far fringe of the nutty left.
