Remembering Beslan

Geez, five years ago. I still remember it as if it were yesterday. I've mentioned it several times when covering other terrorism issues. We don't talk about terrorism as much as we once did out here. Also, the Right on line seemed to have a lot more heart in the game back then. I don't mean passion. We have that now for fighting back. Maybe soul is the correct word.

Sometimes I think I've digested too much news from being out here so long.

The video below wasn't done specifically for Beslan. It was two years later and about children all over the world who are victims of terrorism, and not just from attacks. The last half of it is directly related to Beslan.

It is going to be overlooked for a long time yet, for several vacuous reasons, but the fact is that Mohammedan (primarily) and other-sourced terrorism as well are of a piece with the Party in power in Washington D.C and most of the nation, and with that Party's agenda. They are the same people, shot from the same historical root, illustrating the same existential deformation, inflicting the same counterfeit theology-driven civil and personal violence and coordinating the same agenda. Very unpalatable, very terrifying -- and for not a few, very insanely dangerous merely to think -- but true.
