Obama's at -8 in his approval index and programs he's highlighting, or has talked about aren't doing any better. Only 17% favor bailing out the press. Will they report that? The people don't even want to see a commission established to explore the issue.
Health care is still a loser despite the Sunday Obama TV deluge. Is this guy for anything the people want at this point?
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 30% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-eight percent (38%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -8 (see trends).
The President recently said he is open to considering the idea of giving tax breaks to struggling newspapers. Thirty-seven percent (37%) of American adults say it would be better to provide some federal subsidies rather than let the newspapers go out of business. However, only 17% favor a government bailout of the newspaper industry.

The bottomline on healthcare reform is that there still is no plan, no matter what Obama says. I don't expect "The Plan" to spring from Obama's head "full grown and in armor" (like Athena sprung from Zeus' head), so expect a long death.
The fact that Obama seems incapable of putting pen to paper to bring "his plan" to life really makes you wonder if those rumours about Bill Ayers writing his books.

both of the obamas are used to telling us how hard change is. i guess that doesn't apply to the newspaper industry. they want to retain their positions despite their financial failings. losers.

More and more it is becoming quite obvious that Obama really does not care about his fellow dems. elections in 2010. He is doing all he can to moake sure many of them lose their seats. Why?

Typical non-voters are turning into voters against Obama.
He is done.

He can print all the money to print all the newspapers he wants. Unless he's going to pay people to buy and read them, it's a waste.
