Talk about Alinsky's rules for radicals. Michelle Malkin has the White House's laughable response to the ACORN controversy now that the corrupt organization is being burned down by Breitbart's Big Government. They even leave the door open to working with them in future election years. What nerve these people have. Good grief.
Gibbs said he was not sure whether the president would ask Democrats to pull back from any campaign-year collaboration with the group.
Let's re-visit Obama on ACORN during the 2008 election. Any fraud perpetuated by ACORN simply wasn't their fault. It was nothing but a distraction. And the real concern should be those damned Republicans and their well known voter suppression efforts. That isn't change. It's the same old tactics we've been seeing from the Jacksons and the Sharptons for decades. Deny any corruption and attack, in essence calling Republicans racists. And that is precisely what Obama is implying here.
“My understanding in terms of the voter fraud, because having run a voter registration drive, I know how problems arise, this is typically a situation where ACORN probably paid people to get registrations and these folks, not wanting to actually register people because that's actually hard work, just went into a phone book or made up names and submitted false registrations to get paid," Obama said. "So there's been fraud perpetrated probably on ACORN if they paid these individuals and they actually didn’t do registrations.”
"But this isn't a situation where there's actually people who are going to try to vote 'cause these are phony names," Obama said. "And, it's doubtful (Dallas Cowboys quarterback) Tony Romo (whose name has been fraudulently submitted) is gonna show up in Ohio to vote. So this is another one of these distractions that gets stirred up in the course of a campaign.
"But what I want to make sure of, is that this is not used as an excuse for the kind of voter suppression strategies and tactics that we've seen in the past. Let’s just make sure everybody is voting, everybody’s registered. Let's make sure that everybody’s doing it in a lawful way."

Obama just missed his chance for a true Sister Souljah moment.

The first eyebrow raising thing that Obama did when he won was to move the Census bureau into the White House. Word quickly spread that they, the census, were going to use ACORN to do the street work.
If that didn’t make you uncomfortable, you’ve got a heroin drip going 24/7.
Does he really think that he can just back away from ACORN??
He’s right about one thing: he’s got audacity. Bucket loads.

Obama is ACORN, ACORN is Obama. They are joined at the hip. They are both far left wing social agitators.
The public is finally realizing what some conservatives said last year. BHO has ZERO executive experience. ZERO business experience. ZERO military experience.
He's a professional talker, nothing more. That and a head full of neo-Marxist, "spread thw wealth" around song and dance.
One term wonder......if that.

Anyone who does not realize that Acorn had both feet right in the middle of the vote fraud in the last election, and some previous elections, is rather naive. They may claim that the are victims of their untrustworthy employees, but that's a cop-out. Many of those fake registrations were used to vote. Ever wonder why the Democrats win EVERY close election, and the deciding votes, in large part, come from inner city voting sites. Or why a block of 100 votes, all for Frankin mysteriously show up in a trunk of a poll worker...well after the polls have closed. The death of Acorn is illusory. Others will take their place to further the fraud on this Country. Watch out for SEIU. They are just as bad, maybe worse.

Hello people! The article states this was attached to a student aid bill- not just any student aid bill though, a student aid bill that allows the g'vt takeover of all student loans - all loans will be g'vt loans, no longer private loans. Thats the real story here.

Are all the people on the right lunatics. What about the fraudulent election reporst fr Florida, giving Bush the election. There are bad people in any organization. You right wing knuckleheads should clean your iwn home first before you inspect others.

Hey, these clowns met their political obligation, they got you idiots to vote for this jerk.
You voted him in, deal with it, like the smart ones that didn't vote for him have to do.
I think it's hysterical, they conned you all!

WOW ! One has to be really forgiving to dismiss the pervasive fraud that has been exposed on the Acorn Videos. This is why both the house and Senate cut their funding in the last 48 hours. To say that “there are bad people in any organization” give the impression that this was an isolated incident and skirts the truth. Has our society fallen to the point where egregious behavior depicted in over five ACORN offices from coast to coast can be rationalized away as long as we can perceive a common link to its political views? That is truly sad, for there have been in our history many events where both Democrats and Republicans have yielded party loyalty to the light of truth and the weight of integrity …may it happen here as well..

Yeah right, Leroy bring up Bush rather than deal with the issue at hand. I detested what happened in Florida, but that is old news already. I guess because Christ was crucified two thousand years ago we can justify modern day hate crimes, that is your kind of logic. We learn from the past in order to transform the here and now. We don't justify the here and now by looking at the past. Besides where is your proof that Bush stole the election. Show me your evidence. You can't. You are just spouting off with a worn out talking point. The Acorns are falling to the ground that is the here and now.

Bud, you need to learn some history. Florida was the result of the Republicans finnaly catching up to the Democrats, IF ANYTHING. I think that Bush won Fl. fair and perhaps even square.
Go watch a good doc. on LBJ and find out about how the democrats count the votes of dead people. It's been going on for a long time.

"What about the fraudulent election reporst fr Florida, giving Bush the election."
This shows you just how completely brain-dead the Obama Party trolls are.
"Between 7:49 p.m. and 8 p.m. EST on Nov. 7, NBC, CBS, CNN, Fox, ABC and the Associated Press all called Florida for Gore. Some two hours later, the networks and the AP began pulling back that projection as actual voter counts revealed how close the race was.
Early Wednesday, Nov. 8, the networks declared the state and its crucial 25 electoral votes for George W. Bush, effectively giving him the presidency, but then had to retreat again when the vote ended in a virtual tie. The AP did not call the race for Bush, either in Florida or for the presidency.
Republicans have complained that the networks declared Gore the winner in Florida before the polls closed in the state's Panhandle, where Bush anticipated a strong showing. The Panhandle is in the Central time zone and polls there closed one hour after the rest of the state. They have also questioned whether early decisions to award Florida to Gore might have affected voter turnout in some Western states."

In short, the desperate libbies tried to call the state for Gore falsely BEFORE THE POLLS HAD EVEN CLOSED.
And now they turn around and accuse the Republicans of doing it? I think not. They simply are too stupid and ignorant to realize their lies. They're like their leader, Barack Obama, who believes that he can tell lies with impunity because he's black.
