Wow! As someone who thinks Palin at least deserves an even break once in a while, I wasn't looking forward to clicking in to the New York Times for Gail Collins write up of the latest Levi Johnston Bash Sarah, Get Check attempt thanks to Vanity Fair. You might recall VF's last most famous couple, Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson. They didn't last too long after VF for not very fair to Republicans feted them.
Now it appears as if Levi Johnston's fifteen minutes of fame might be just about up, as well. Maybe there's some sanity left at the Times, after all. Color me surprised.
Given the fact that Johnston is a 19-year-old high school dropout whose mother was arrested last year on six felony drug counts, it is conceivable that he is not the perfect arbiter of normal families. But even if he were an Eagle Scout with a scholarship to Harvard, can you imagine anything worse than discovering your daughter’s teenage ex-boyfriend has been given a national platform to discuss his impressions of her mom’s parenting skills?
But somehow I have a feeling that even the most ardent Palin-haters are not going to be able to work up much sympathy for Levi’s complaint that Sarah made him cut off his mullet before his appearance at the Republican convention. Or that when she moved to Juneau after being elected governor, she tried to take Bristol with her in order to break them up.
In fact, trying to separate her daughter from Johnston could be filed away in the rather slim folder titled “Sarah Palin’s Good Ideas.”
Levi’s reports on Palin’s failings as wife and mother sound exactly like what any self-absorbed teenager might say about his girlfriend’s working mom. She doesn’t cook! He and Bristol had to do everything! They had to take care of the kids and go to Taco Bell to get Sarah a Crunchwrap Supreme!
Plus, Sarah fought a lot with Bristol’s dad, Todd, and they certainly didn’t look like a happy couple to Levi. She claimed to be a hockey mom but he didn’t notice her at the rink all that often. (Why do I have the feeling that the amount of time Johnston spent keeping tabs on his teammates’ parents was not extensive?)

It's their charitable contributions piece. I mean, in their view, given that a broken clock is right twice a day then surely, even a conservative might occasionally deserve benefit of doubt.
But, lest we forget that we are talking about Sarah Palin mind you, the obligatory cheap shot survives. "rather slim folder" was funny though, I have to admit.

More fodder for that drooling tool, Jesse Griffin.
People who already admire and love Sarah Palin will not be deterred by anything Levi has to say. Right now he's using Sarah Palin as his meal ticket. Sarah and Todd will weather this just fine.
But I keep thinking of Levi's and Bristol's baby son. Is this how Levi wants his son to remember him?

Porn. Inevitably, this loser will end up doing porn as a living.

Palins best response to this imbecile is no response.Last time she helped raise him to some sort of significance by responding. However at her statements conclusion she said it all by saying she and her family will allways love him no matter what. That took the wind out of his sail.Well NY Times maybe I will buy your paper again. If your finally starting to become more fair to conservatives,by stating the obvious truth such as in this case. You just might be worth reading again.

Levi is definitely someone that needs to be randomly kicked in balls so he is gargling testicles for a few days.

Are Bristol or Willow Palin hockey players or was it just their older brother? If the latter, then Sarah's presence at kids' hockey games would have been years earlier, before Levi was around the Palin home.
If Sarah had been successful in moving Bristol to Juneau, it probably wouldn't have changed the election outcome but it would have been a bit closer. Stuff adds up. A voter here, a voter there, and pretty soon you're talking about real percentages. Just the same, the world would be better off if this guy remained in obscurity.

What a gentleman.
Doesn't Levi Johnston realize that the media is taking him for a ride?
Next week he'll be dropped off behind a Taco Bell dumpster.
Johnston can find his dignity wrapped in the wadded-up paper trash of Crunchwrap Supreme.

Andree Mclod had another of her ethic complaints dismissed, has 1 left pending.
Must be about 20 complaints now that have been dismissed..

All I can say is what in the heck was Bristol thinking!! Obviously she wasn't. This is a mistake that will shadow all of them forever. And poor Trip, to have to grow up already famous and with this low IQ butthead for a dad. Doesn't get much worse.

On the tv news out here in the PRK the accusations were described as things about Palin that Johnston "revealed"...
Posted by: DAve | Friday, September 04, 2009 at 11:13 AM
I was accused of this: passive/aggressive. Say nothing to the little prick. I'm not really aggressive but I don't like getting beat up by people that can't pass an IQ test. Poor Ol' Levi, the failed fool! Why does anyone care, for Christ's sake? Maybe you people are afflicted with the same disease - average intelligence. Look up the numbers - google: IQ.

Another liberal hit piece, long on vitriol, short on facts. Sarah really can't shoot? There is video out there showing her handling an M4 or M16 on full auto. THe main stream media dug up, or made up every thing they could on Sarah. Easy to find the facts on Sarah, hard to find out anything on Barry. Anybody notice that we don't know what courses Barry took in college, or any papers he wrote? He is touted as a great scholar, but nobody knows who he studied under or what he studied. I rather think all his mentors were Marxist.
I know most of his Czars are, too bad we find out the truth after the election.

Don't know about Alaska but Minnesota has attendance of 12,000-13,000 at some Girls hockey games, That's GIRLS. And Russia can be seen from parts of Alaska. And Alaska is the only oil producing state that gives back, to it's citizens, a revenue check each year from "Big Oil". Wonder if they'd do that if Sarah hadn't negotiated that they had to? On top of that, She's HOT.

Let me say this... If my nine year old turns out to be so disrespectful I will feel as if I failed as a mother. I have stayed home with my kids and I have been a working mom with kids. In both scenarios I did not cook! The working part is irrelevant... I hate cooking and my family is no worse for the wear. I'm not a Palin lover but Levi, grow up! Sounds like his own mother couldn't hold a candle to her!

I love the part about Barry. There were more voters that knew whose daughter was pregnant that there were voters that knew Barry went by the name of Barry in grade school. So what did he study in college - a lawyer, hmmmm has anyone seen his degree of even his ranking in his class. This was really an election driven by the media - and now more people are asking - what have we done?????? But where's the birth certificate? Barry wouldn't have to spend all that money covering up something if he would just release the information every other candidate has had to release. Even his medical record were not released. Just a note from his doctor, and somehow that was exceptable. Where has America gone wrong?????
