Leave it to lunatic Eric Boehlert and the pitiful Media Matters to produce some of the ugliest, most irresponsible and dangerous rhetoric I've ever seen. And that's before you get to crazy and ignorant, as it is both of those as well.
A President was killed the last time right-wing hatred ran wild like this
That being John F. Kennedy, who was gunned down in Dallas, of course.
I’ve been thinking a lot of Kennedy and Dallas as I’ve watched the increasingly violent rhetorical attacks on Obama be unfurled.
Despite the dirtbag's weak attempt at revisionism, Oswald was a communist. That isn't exactly the Right last time I looked. Inside and outside of America the Left has been responsible for far more political violence than the American Right has ever produced. And Media Matters is demonstrating itself to be a far more out of control and dangerous outlet than one would think the Democrat Party could ever produce.
It is a testament to how far Left they've gone and how far down they've sunk. And given the recurrent bouts of lunacy among the Left, collectively and as regards its activists, there's more likelihood of one of them attempting something like this in a misguided attempt to blame it on the Right.
Today's Left in America is sick, disturbed and dangerous. I wouldn't recommend turning your back on, or losing sight of them if you can help it. There aren't enough, or the right words to describe how truly pathetic they have become.

This must be the latest liberal meme. I believe Chrissy Boy Mathews said the same thing recently.

Ask that poor gentleman in LA named Rice about the pinkie he had bitten off by a left-wing crazy. The cops still haven't found the "perp." Probably a member of their crooked union. Or the black guy in St. Louis who was pushed around at a rally, lefty crazies again to blame. Then Granny Rictus Botox tried to cry croc tears but found her ducts had been welded shut after repeated botulism attacks. Still, she whines about Milk and Moscone, who were killed by Demo-rat White, who was p-o'd because he didn't get his share of the corruption provender ladled out by the San Fran Demo-rat Machine.
Nancy is crazy and stupid, just like Boehlert, only she is even higher above her Peter Principle skill sets than Eric, who is merely an ignorant ink-stained agitpreppie.

I always believed they will "pull the trigger" first. Eventhough they have like the previous psoter pointed out. But I heard Breitbart say he's got a "blockbuster" that's coming "from left field" next week and there's more ACORN info.
The left like Dan points out are sick individuals. Look at their policies and beliefs and you'll see a deranged and demonic ideology. It's going to get hot in here. Knuckle up and get ready.

The right uses violence to protect American values, the left to destroy them ...

They are all ordering wine from the same crazy list. A nitwit named Geyman (you can't make these names up) at Muffpost claims in so many words that if Obama's plan (I haven't seen it yet, have you) does pass it will save 45,000 lives a year. Really:

It has long been my contention that, while they may _start_ it, we'll _finish_ it.

There is not one iota of difference between the Left today and 20 years ago or 200 years ago. They are simply more conspicuous now -- have actual power -- and we are able to notice.

(Apologies to the Late Patsy Cline and Willie Nelson)
Crazy
Crazy for feeling so lonely
I'm crazy
Crazy for feeling so blue
I knew
You'd love me as long as you wanted
And then someday
You'd leave me for somebody new
Worry
Why do I let myself worry
Wondrin'
What in the world did I do
Crazy
For thinking that my love could hold you
I'm crazy for tryin'
Crazy for cryin'
And I'm crazy
For lovin you'
(repeat last verse)

It is good that Breitbart and allies are dribbling out these small blockbusters for maximum effect.
I hope this is the beginning of the end of the left's power. If it fades, we should not see it again for a long time. Lets hope their successors do a better job. If I am wrong, the country we have known is finished.

i saw the oliver stone movie...
the mafia, cuban nationals, the cia, and lbj were the only suspects listed.
perhaps there will be a directors cut, where the "racists" were also implicated.

I liken Breitbart's measured release of these things to Chinese Water Torture of the liberals. It's really fun to watch how they react to it.

Utterly disgusting...and desperate.
Media Matters even repeats the tired urban myth about Dallas school children cheering the assassination of JFK. That story was debunked and rebuked by CBS IN 1963! And it almost cost Rather his job. (Imagine that...decades without a Dan Rather, who sadly hails from my neck of the Gulf Coast woods.) Though I was only a child when JFK was assassinated, I remember, through re-tellings, this particular vile instance of yellow journalism as the crystallizing moment Texans disowned Dan Rather.
------------
"Eddie Barker strongly doubted the allegation, which a tipster had called in as true. Barker knew and distrusted the source. He warned Dan Rather away from the story and told him, "Frankly we don't need that." Eddie felt assured that Dan had agreed not to use it, but then Rather fed it to CBS anyway, and CBS aired it.
Eddie, known for a fiery temper that at times resulted in trash cans being kicked around the office, blew his stack and evicted Rather and the CBS crew from our newsroom, where they had been headquartered.
KRLD News countered the story by arranging for me to interview one of the school's teachers live during our six o'clock newscast. Conducting the five-minute interview, I asked the questions everyone would have. Did the children applaud the announcement of the president's death? Did they applaud when school was cancelled? [sic] The teacher calmly denied that the children in her school had reacted to the presidents death with anything but the sorrow we all shared. She knew of no other school where it might have happened. If it had occurred, the entire school system would have known."
------
These despicable libs are truly dangerous. Their obvious desire for another calamity is palpable.

Oswald was a Marine.
Marines are uniformly conservative.
Therefore Oswald was a conservative.
He also floated in water, and therefore was made of wood.
Verily, the Left hath the mind of a Python flick.

Selective amnesia is the epidemic that is sweeping the left - I guess they all forgot the actually violent rhetoric against President Bush, such as the novel and film about his assassination, the fantasies about Michelle Malkin getting killed when she visited Iraq, the prayers for Dick Cheney's death when he had his heart condition, etc. etc. etc. It would be hilarious if it weren't so dangerous.

Boehlert has always danced on the razor's edge of sanity. Sounds like he's moonwalked right the hell off it.

rmcenroe: zero to none. I've been thrown off several crazy-left sites because my background gave me access to knowledge [State Dept Middle East] that they didn't know and their anti-Semitic, pro-Arab bias made their tiny frontal lobes explode and I've been banned ever since. About seven or eight. Not that they ever make sense, just talking points for Soros, who funds Brock and Boehlert and other JournList All-Stars who have an invitation-only cabal which shares ways to distort the truth and disinform the public.
Palin was offed that way as was Bobby Jindal, a sort of tipping point of like-minds, if you want to stretch the concept of mind to include the cesspools they're coming from.

There's a greater issue being uncovered: the Left has not realized it is "The Man" to which it always sought rebellion against. It is the hegemonic power, the elite, the institution, to which it defined itself in opposition for over 40 years. We're in for quite an experience: matter realizes it is anti-matter. A lifetime of irrational hatred finds that which it loathes and is fundamentally defined against is... itself.
It's a deconstructionist utopia, with all these signifiers linked to themselves. The right's protests are so pre-Dallas... oh wait... that was us that killed Kennedy. No, it's so racist like Jim Crow.... crap! Who the hell is this Robert Byrd guy and why is he the grandfather of our party? Our coalition of the largest businesses, either owned by the national state or in a partnership with the national state along with the labor unions and people's community organizing movement, opposes the fascists of the right. What's that? The definition of fascism is exactly what we've constructed? Crap again!!! Would it help if we explained that we're forming a national civilian people's domestic army who will mobilize the masses against the evil conservative Nazi enemy? What? That's what the Nazis were?
They are what they thought they opposed. They have no other identity. This ought to be interesting...

Welcome to the new revolution! Millions that can't be hoodwinked, millions that feel the economic strangle hold, millions that want answers. I feel sorry for the Left. They actually have no idea what is about to happen.

Mark Levin prefaces each mention of Media Matters with "the criminal organisation". Clearly he knows of what he speaks. They haven't taken him to court.

Good points, Hessian. I recall the sort of momentary bafflement of some of my brighter leftist relatives when Obama was elected and thereafter. The proud pose and identity of militant "outsiderness" was suddenly thrown into disarray. But madness and incoherence was always built into the Left, and has never been resolved except by force. So now we see the natural leftist survival impulse of force exerting itself (demagoguery, slanders, threats and, more covertly, efforts to stifle speech). It had to come to this. Better that we have it out.

We do have to thank Boehlert for this: we've been talking about Carter parallels, and he's pointed out the JFK parallels, which are if anything even more striking. One big difference: There's no Lyndon to backstop the failure.
Assassination pr0n is a sign of desperation. The guy's such an abject failure that only martyrdom can rescue him.

Ric
