Good grief is right. I can't believe all that emotion is simply the product of her liberal world view.

I wonder if she isn't seeing a dream come crashing down in some way. She's the Speaker of the House, there's a liberal president - but she can't sell the American people on what she wants. As the Speaker of the House of Representatives, her rhetoric and demeanor in this clip are more troubling than anything that takes place at a Tea Party for heaven's sake.

The baucus plan doesn't work. Snowe bails on it, and even if they wanted to use if as a framework, which they could tinker with after snowe gave them a reconcilation vote. They don't get past a filibuster, and they aren't even going to try. The tears today are the tears of abject failure.

Until you find a REAL conservative who willingly espouses the idea that a picture of a president with a bullet in his head is a great way to "protest" said president's policies, ya'll on the left need to grow the hell up and get a frigging life.

Your guy is in office, you have a majority in Congress. You want this sh!t passed, get it passed and take the frigging consequences and stop blaming everyone for YOUR president's failed ideas/policies/lack of experience and testicular fortitude.

Obama's poll numbers dropping dramatically.
Cap and Trade will probably not go through.
Health Care may not pass.
Acorn has been exposed and lost funding.
Van Jones had to resign and The Czars are being looked at closely.
2010 is around the corner, and she probably will no longer be the Majority Leader because the Democrats are on target to lose many seats.
In addition, she will lose her jet.

These new tactics really did take me by surprise. After the march, Statists went into a frenzied crescendo of "racism" and "violence" charges. And I do think they did so as a concerted effort. It's also a difficult thing to refute asinine statements with logic. They say (out loud) we are using "code words" that really mean "racism".

So now it's time for thought.

If we are racially prohibited from speaking out against Obama (no matter what color we are), the next logical step is to go after Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Maybe we can simply ignore Obama. We'll do what we can to stop him, but perhaps he personally can no longer be our focus. To quote Howard Rourk, "I don't think of you." He doesn't want to take criticism like a man? Fine. He doesn't exist.

The grass-roots opposition and the libertarian and conservative media can redouble its efforts on "Czars", the Cabinet, and members of Congress. (The Acorn thing was a good example of going after the corruption in the system without making it all about Obama).

Nancy and Harry will need to be the focus of most of the heat. Perhaps they already are feeling it, both from the public and from the administration.

Our district is 25% black, but that's not important. The majority won't show up if Obie's not on the ticket. And this socialist only won by 700+ votes.
