Politico suggests that conservatives are now employing the techniques of Alinksky themselves.
To some extent, perhaps But if liberals are pretty much in complete control of Washington these days, can conservatism help but be anything other than a push for radical change? Or perhaps due to age or generational change, the old stuffy corporate tied conservatism is simply dying off. That particular brand of Republicanism might be out of favor going forward, as well.
If one wants to, let's say, crash the gate, it might be smart to come up with some new tactics for a change. Conservativism on the march! Imagine that.
Conservatives are coming for the Democrats on their blind side — the left.
The evidence is everywhere.
At tea parties and town halls, conservative demonstrators oppose health care reform with signs bearing the abortion-rights slogan “Keep your laws off my body” or the line “Obama lies, Grandma dies” — an echo of the “Bush lied, they died” T-shirts worn to protest the Iraq war.
Conservative activists are yelling “Nazi!” and “Big Brother!” where they used to shout “Nanny state!” and “Big Government!”

In mainstream American discourse, media and academia but especially the media, conservatives are labled as such "conservatives" but liberals are rarely if ever identified as "liberals" (or "progressive" or "socialists" - which many are).
Notice this on those endless "debates" on political talk shows. The conservatives is almost always called "conservative senator" or "conservative representative" but the liberal side is simpley "senator" or "representative". This is pure bias.

You have to be kidding, first off the wives of the presidents, really have NO busines in politics. So become the spouse, and thats your job, more times than not, they have no knowledge of anything related with the presidency, and I'm getting tired of people that are not qualified.

True is the constitution, along with that belief, this along with this administration, and the previous has swayed away from that heritage. We need, not the fortunate few,or the favors they give, but STAND-UP Americans that will do the right things, with right decisions.

If you want to "crash the gate", have you considered using your brains or at least finding those who have brains who could help you?
I ask because my 2.5+ year plan in which I urged people to go to events and "interrogate" politicians has continually failed to gain any support whatsoever, despite the fact that it would have been devastatingly effective and might have prevented McCain from being nominated and Obama from being elected.
Instead, the TP leaders act like something out of a kindergarten production of Idiocracy, encouraging their followers to go to events and act like baboons.
My Feb. 2007 report in which I tried to ask BHO a question is at my name's link; how come none of your leaders encouraged you to do something like that?
