Ah, what a genuis he is. Don't cover illegals, just make them legal. WOW!

President Obama said this week that his health care plan won't cover illegal immigrants, but argued that's all the more reason to legalize them and ensure they eventually do get coverage.

Who can possibly be surprised? Anyone could see this coming. It was certain and unconcealed.

O has repeatedly said immigration reform was on his agenda after ObamaCare. So he finessed the issue. He would waive ObamaCare for illegals. Connect the dots.

Immigration Reform means Amnesty to the Democratic party leadership. But Immigration Reform sounds better, it is vague. And people like the "reform" word. They think it means improvement.

ObamaCare quickly became insurance company "reform" when it didn't sell with other labels.

Across parties many politicians want to dodge the issue. So they just say whatever will win votes at home. Hardly novel in politics. And what they say to voters has little connection to what they may agree to in D.C.

On this issue wealth trumps party affiliation. The wealthy like their cheap labor: maids, cooks, gardeners, and the staff at the country club. Big agriculture wants cheap field labor.

McCain had no problem with amnesty as long as his rich buddies told him it was just super dandy. His position changed fast when he sought primary votes to run for President.

Cheap labor?? $7.75 an hour is cheap labor? And most states have even higher minimums than the fed. So its not cheap labor thats the deal, its undocumented pay thats the deal.Hiding from taxes on labor paid below the minimums and getting away with it.
Oh hell,who cares now anyway,Charley rangel dont,Pelosi and her winery dont and Barney and his whorehouse didnt so why should I care.Those trolls just want gratitude from sub ignorant laborers and the votes forthcoming.Vote for me cause I gave you rights and goodies you never had in mexico or nicarauga or where ever else you snuck in from.The actual pay recieved is chicken feed compared to what they have access to now.Welfare,medical care,food stamps,college.I dont see a damn thing CHEAP about any of that.The only way the wealthy can get away with any benefit is if they manage to evade the enforcement boys at the IRS and EEOC.

Who didn't know this was coming. As for cheap labor, right now illegals only tend to work a tad cheaper due to their illegal status. Once they are legal that will change. This goes down in history as the biggest sell out of the American public that has ever been attempted.
