Yeah, the Left will have to spend time and energy rationalizing this away, while also defending child rapist Roman Polanski. What a sick bunch.
The left may have a collective aneurysm by the time Going Rogue is released, and that's still not until November 17.
And right on time, some Palin hater planted a hit piece in the New York Post. The Post is usually decent to the Right, aren't they? Hmm. Just curious, but who from the Right might want to rain on Sarah Palin's book parade? Anyone in particular come to mind? Just axin questions, is all.
SARAH Palin is said to have pocketed a $7 million advance for the 400-page memoir she turned in four months early, but she might not have such an easy time on the lecture circuit.

Well, the item was in Johnson's Page Six column. Gossipy.

In all fairness, popularity isn't necessarily equivalent with being good. Just think "Barack Obama" and "Global Warming."
I like Sarah Palin immensely as a person and I respect what she's done as Governor of Alaska. That being said, she shot herself in the foot time after time during the presidential campaign. There's an argument to be made about blaming McCain and his advisers for some of that, but as far as I'm concerned they're all her mistakes - even if her mistake was accepting the nomination to run with a milquetoast and / or following the advice from his ship of fools. I'm not dead-set against her running for president, but she'd have to work hard to sell me.

It sure was a hit piece. Nothing is sourced, but that may be par for the course with page 6.
The Palm Beach Post offered their take on Palin's book. Of course, they don't have a copy to read, but that doesn't faze this band of merry editorialists. They don't need to read no stinkin' book to have an opinion.

The irony is if they attacked her less, she'd be less of a superstar and the same people screaming how stupid she is, are the ones lecturing me on how brilliant Obama is. Palin will have to stand on her own merits, but could anyone be doing a worse job than Carter II. China is lecturing us about capitalism and the French are telling us to man up.
Somewhere a middle school is missing a vice principal.

I suffered through the idiots telling me that Pres Reagan was an idiot.

HuffPo ran a fake excerpt (I think it was yesterday), giving a whole new meaning to Fail Blog.

The uglies who reviled Palin have been pretty much silent since the day she left office (26 July, 2009) so they are well rested and raring to go after her and her supporters once again.
I wonder if it would do any good for some aspiring journalist to compile a whole bookful of the crapola that has been seen online and in print (with nary a whit of truth behind the slurs) and put that out in published form?
Someone might make a bundle of money, especially if truth followed slur.

Most of it isn't fit to be in print, I'd say.

Correction!
Palin's "Going Rogue" #1 At B&N, #1 At Amazon

I don't believe Sarah continually shot herself in the foot during the election. The old lame stream media did that by editing interviews and well, lying. If you want to believe ABC/CNN/NBC/CBS... then go ahead and remain ignorant in your dream world where UhUhUhBamuh is brilliant and the world is free of nukes, and Kumbaya is the national anthem.
I'd like to see some documentaries made on how the old MSM pushed their progressive agenda. How different would the world be if they had been kept honest all these years. If the internet had been available would things have turned out differently for Joe McCarthy?

I read the hit piece on NY Post. Any politician that has 1200 invitations is not going to have trouble getting paid good money. May not be all 50,000 paid speeches. But the first in Hong Kong was well received and she did travel overseas on that one. Clinton has made a fortune on the speech circuit. She will also.
If she got a million plus advance that pays for all the defense costs plus. She is going to be wealthy.
The book has a large 1st printing at 1.5 copies and already is a hot book with presales and B&N and Amazon.
Naw! The Ny Post is wishful thinking by a person who dislikes Palin.
One thing the left and right agree is that Palin has mega star power

Question: Was it good or bad for the country that the media hid from the public the extent of FDR's disability?

I think that former McCain campaign insiders should stop spewing bile anonymously through the NY Post. They must be terrified of her or they wouldn't attack. Pity.

Her book just moved into the #1 slot on Amazon. The head explosions on the Left are going to make a real mess for the clean-up crew...
