AP Poll - 60% Of America: Racist!!

How disappointing. Where did all these racists come from? Obviously the American people are only upset with the government today because Obama's black. What's wrong with these people??

The Associated Press-National Constitution Center poll of views on the Constitution found little support for the idea that the government had to save AIG, the world's largest insurer, mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and the iconic American company General Motors last year because they were too big to fail.

Just 38 percent of Americans favor government intervention - with 60 percent opposed - to keep a company in business to prevent harm to the economy. The number in favor drops to a third when jobs would be lost, without greater damage to the economy.

Hello. My name is Mad Monica and I am a racist. For years I thought I was a relatively honest, law-abiding ordinary citizen, but thanks to the left, specifically former president Jimmy Carter, I have come to realize that I truly am a racist.

How do I know? It's obvious, isn't it? No one who isn't racist would disagree with anything said or done by the left and its Dear Leader. Only when looking through racist glasses is it possible to find fault with anything that comes out of the president's mouth. If only I could remove my racist heart and open myself up to the peace, love and change that the left is trying to hard to push down the throats, with the best of intentions of course, of racist Americans.

We really should put aside our racist ways and just let those on the left handle everything like they want. After all, they've done a bang up job over the years protecting us from terrorism and financial melt down. The only reason we've had problems with either issue is due to the ignorant masses who fell for the Supreme Court decision that said that evil Bush guy won the election. Had we just knuckled under and give the White House to the true president, Al Gore, we wouldn't be in the middle of two wars, we would be admired and loved by others around the world and our popsicles wouldn't melt as quick when we sit on the front stoop to eat them.

Of course, we would probably have a hard time finding popsicles since most of our money would be going to fund global warming this and that and community organizing activities and I think someone said popsicles are bad for the ozone layer or something. It's ok, though. Eating a popsicle through a bourka would probably be hard anyway.

I bow to the superior intellect that resides in former president Carter and anyone who is on the lefty side of politics. Please forgive me for attempting to think for myself. I will do my best to change my ways. Just let me know what I'm supposed to think/feel/believe so I can get on the right track ASAP. *SARCASM OFF*

If this country was so damned racist, Mr. Carter, why in the HELL did the US just elect a black man to office? Why is it that Bush had so many people of color, latinos, etc., in his cabinet? Bush's cabinet sure looked to me like a group picked on their talents rather than their color or political beliefs. Too bad that's not the way the new guy works. Oh wait. That's right. The new president isn't even filling his real cabinet. He's appointing CZARS so he can bypass confirmation. Sorry. Forgot.

This racism crap is just that: CRAP. The left cannot think of any way to win on any number of issues right now therefore they throw the race card out there as a last ditch effort to shut us up. For too long the people of this nation have been terrified of being called racist. I've had enough. I've seen more racism on display since the DNC picked a black man as their candidate than I've EVER seen. And I've had me some really ignorant, racist relatives a time or two. The only difference is, this racism is directed at anyone who doesn't agree with the left party line rather than a particular race.

the racism charge clearly helps with rallying the democratic base. It is acting like nails on a chalk board for the independents. A good guide as to how far off the reservation a poliitcal belief is looking where independents fall between the dems and the gop.

the threshold for independents, where dems should worry, is when it gets over 60%. At that point, the gop holds a majority view.

I tend to chalk this up under the broad spectrum of "black Liberation theology"...

It's primary goal? the establishment of a 'white devil'. The method requires only that you identify an 'offending' politician by race, and then proceed to use that individual to represent the race at large. This method eliminates the possiblity of a reflexive logic being used against the cult members.
