Not any new information. Just fun seeing it with the AP byline. I wonder if Hillel Italie, who had to write it up, will take a sick day tomorrow? heh! h/t to the brown-eyed gal on Twitter. h/t Sissy Willis on Twitter for the Amazon update. Said to be #1 there now, as well.
NEW YORK — Sarah Palin finished her book quickly and became a best seller even faster.
Just two days after HarperCollins announced that the release of Palin's memoir, "Going Rogue," had been moved up from the spring to Nov. 17, preorders for the former Alaska governor's book have made it No. 1 on Barnes & Noble.com on Wednesday and at No. 2 on Amazon.com, trailing only Dan Brown's "The Lost Symbol."
Palin, in collaboration with author Lynn Vincent, completed her 400-page book just four months after agreeing to terms with HarperCollins, which plans a first printing of 1.5 million copies.

I think she should start on her next book right away. This one might be a look back at how she got to where she is now. She should now write one that looks forward at where she would like to see things go and why.
Leadership is basically a forward looking endeavor.

Leadership is basically a forward looking endeavor.
Leadership is not quitting.
I'm all for her being at the top of the GOP ticket. Nothing would be more fun.

"Leadership is not quitting."
LOL....again, the left tries to pick the meme that someone who chooses to leave a game in which others are cheating is a quitter.
Palin simply decided that she could fight the left best from a different position -- and in the process, with a few Facebook posts, has managed to seismically shift the debate on health care "reform" and drive WPE's Messiah to foolish spinning and retreat on national television.
Were WPE and the rest of his Code Pink friends not so disdainful of the military and military strategy, they might be aware of the fact that retreating from an untenable position to one of strength -- "quitting", in their jargon -- has set up countless successful attacks and victories throughout history.

You can try out all the euphemisms you want - she ran for office then quit mid-term. End of story.
But I'm all for you promoting her to the top of the GOP ticket. I can't think of anything that would be more entertaining.
She certainly seems to be The One for Wingnuts. Wingnut got a problem? Just call Sarah, she's the answer.
Too bad she had to use a ghostwriter for her book. It would have been much more interesting if she'd actually put pen to paper.
NDT's friends want to nuke New York City and Washington DC. Some American partiot.

She used a collaborator, not a ghostwriter, just like Kennedy used a collaborator, the Clintons, etc., so are you also doubting that they actually did not pen to paper? As far as her quitting, she had no choice. She did what was best. She was being bombarded with frivolous complaints that would have never stopped. As soon as she was cleared from one another one would be filed. It she would have continued as governor, her legal bills would have been in the millions. As it was, in less than a year she was in debt for over $500,000 and the State was spending money also due to these lawsuits. You don't have to like her, but one thing is not liking a person and another thing is to malign someone with erroneous information or, at the very least, inflammatory and inflated statements. I guess that is the reason why it is constantly being attributed to her that she said that she could see Russia from her house as opposed to the person that originally said that, Tina Fey. Of course, people like you will "parrot" anything that fits your perception with absolutely no accuracy.

Palin had a ghostwriter. You mean like William Ayers largely wrote at least one of Obama's biographies? I'm guessing that Palin's book will acknowledge her collaborator somewhere. I guess Obama didn't want to creidit an unrepentant domestic terrorist, Marxist bomber and murderer as his ghostwriter, eh? Ayers that man who was "just one of the guys in the neighborhood" according to Obama. At least too, Palin had actually accomplished something before writing her books.

"You can try out all the euphemisms you want - she ran for office then quit mid-term. End of story. "
Except it isn't the full story, just the oversimplified tale you use to try to convince people she's worthless.
"But I'm all for you promoting her to the top of the GOP ticket. I can't think of anything that would be more entertaining."
Somehow I doubt that. Your pathetic attempt at reverse psychology is noted and seen for what it really is.

I'm a fan but think the title should be "Going Rouge".

Rriiight. And with her more extensive executive experience, Hill will crush. Make your day.

"As far as her quitting, she had no choice."
BS - REAL pitbulls don't quit. Of course she had a choice. Lots of politicians have piled up legal bills while in office and paid them off later. Think Bill / Hillary Clinton.
Ghostwriter. Palin's listed as the author with no mention of Lynn Vincent.
Really, put Sarah The One at the top of the ticket. Let's see how she stands up through a full primary season and election cycle ahving to deal with tough questions. Just keep the credit cards away from her. See if she's really worthy of the genuflecting all the Wingnuts do at the very mention of her name. Oooooohhhhhh - it's SARAH.

Ghostwriter. Obama's listed as the author with no mention of Bill Ayers.
And by the time 2012 rolls around, voters are going to be so sick of the epic fail Obama administration that it isn't going to matter much whose name is on the ballot against him.
Hell, even Bob Dole would beat him.

Obama couldn't write a grocery list. Please. He didn't write any books.
Right after reading about Palin's book, I looked for it on Amazon - nada. Wrote them a nicely worded complaint about it and it showed up the next day at #3. I've pre-ordered a few and I can't be the only one - now it's #1. Waiting for lefty heads to explode.
I hate to say it but she's going to outsell Levin by several orders of magnitude. Fortunately Mark (like Rush) will be cheering her on. ;-) Good times coming, folks, good times.
