Andrew Sullivan: Now I Get It

Pretty pitiful. Andy drones on about The Atlantic putting his letter to Bush on torture on the front cover, maudlin-ing on ... the way only Andy can, about courage, editorial integrity, blah blah blah. The torture letter is an obvious play to the soft-heads, if not soft hearts, of his liberal readers before cutting to the chase.

Now I know why they hired him, crazy or not. They saw his endless and relentless blog blegs and said, hey, we need that guy to sell our old dead tree version no one wants anymore! They should have used the Trig truther stuff if they really wanted to appeal to his loony Lefty readers that are still there.

The guy will be doing telethons before he's done. Jerry Lewis without the intentional comedic flair.
