Americans Think Gov Too Invasive! Gee, Ya Think?

Why is the Obama administration destined to fail and be thrown out in four years? This is why and it has nothing to do with race. And when one stops to think about the situation we find ourselves in, it becomes even more troubling.

A new Gallup poll shows that the number of people who believe government has its hand in too many areas of American life has reached its highest point in more than a decade.

The question asked by Gallup was, "Some people think the government is trying to do too many things that should be left to individuals and businesses. Others think that government should do more to solve our country's problems. Which comes closer to your own view?" Fifty-seven percent of those surveyed say government is doing too much, while 38 percent say it should do more. Five percent are undecided.

The American people don't want all the gross interventionism Obama is undertaking. Don't kid yourself into thinking Obama just doesn't get it. His various affiliated political interests run polls all the time. They know precisely what the American people think and want in such very general terms. So, what is it they do?

They push major legislation through on a 24 hr fast track to end run any time for debate and exposure of what is going on. They prey on the emotions of some few in this or that interest group to drum up what appears to be broad genuine support for a program or plan the American people as a whole would rather not have.

They write 1000 page bills that no one reads and likely aren't even reported on until it's too late, all to get precisely what they want without the American people catching on.

Don't tell me we aren't living in a soft tyranny that is getting harder and harder to defend against every day. The truth is, we are. And Boehner can go on TV and say Obama is not a socialist all he wants so he continues to be considered a member of the polite, in the know society inside Washington, DC.

But the fact remains that once the government can do precisely what it wants without the people's honest and legitimate consent, you get larger government, more taxes and even greater creep of government into the private sector. And that is exactly where America finds itself today. It's a path to Euro-socialism as plain as day.

And we need to turn back. And that's what makes fighting Obama as effectively as we can on any given day as important as it is. It's going to be a long four years, folks. As Michelle might say, gird your loins!

Hussein Obama is a SOCIALIST. Does anyone care to dispute that? He dislikes free market economics because, in free market economics, the best, the smartest, the hardest working rise to the top and Hussein Obama's main supporters are poorly educated, poorly motivated blacks and latinos, as well as some gullible, bitter, self-loathing whites.

More government = less individual liberty. Any questions?

The Won is a communist. His father and stepfather were both members of the Communist Party. I've never seen anything to indicate whether his mother was a party member but she was obviously at least a fellow traveller (also likely true of his grandparents). The man he cited as the greatest influence on his world view and ideology is Frank Marshall Davis, who was also a member of the Communist Party. He sought out and surrounded himself with radical leftist ideologues throughout his college years, indeed throughout his entire life.
Obama was a red diaper baby, steeped in communist epistemology and he is red through and through. His speeches from the campaign to this day are filled with Marxist platitudes.
His rhetoric is largely socialist and his economic policies (so far) are fascist. As anyone who has studied Marx knows fascism and socialism are but steppingstones on the path to the workers paradise.

well, europe is ten thousand times healthier than big bad dirty old america. government and the state are the means of identity one has. rather like work. when people ask you anything the first time they meet you it is likely what you do or who you are. if you are a pakistani it automatically implies you are a terrorist. if an american a rude tourist. if european a suave laid back gentleman.
