ACORN Hear's a Who, Us?

Oh, you really want to savor this one. The uber-liberal, Democrat controlled House, dedicated as they are to all things community organizational, has voted to cut-off the virtual flood of funding from which a once mighty ACORN did grow. Not no mo, not no mo, hear ye, hear ye, we have enough problems as it is right now and you clowns have jumped the proverbial shark regardless of all that dough! heh!

The US House today joined the Senate in voting to de-fund ACORN, the community advocacy group beset by allegations of voter registration fraud and videotapes apparently showing employees advising conservative activists posing as a prostitute and pimp how to break the law.

They could shut down operations tomorrow and Andrew Breitbart's Big Government has secured its place in New Media and Conservative history right out of the gate. And I wouldn't bet on their going away.

What good fun in an otherwise frightful political year. Yes, I am pleased.

Q: the obama campaign paid acorn over 800k during it's presidential run. Afterwards in the stimulus bill, billions were steered towards funding and increasing the size of the organization.

at what point did the wh come to believe that this was a criminal organzation?
how does this reflect on their voter registration efforts on the behalf of obama's campaign?
when the president was working for acorn, did he hold any reservations about how the organization might be skirting the law?

the acorn thing is absolutely devastating...

obama's career was built on being a "community activist". his legal career, was billed as testament to his service in representing this organization.

the curtains that once surrounded the 'community activism' role have permanently been shredded.

the libs only possible strategy is to push the racism meme' that they have been using for obama, and use it to defend the indefensible in acorn. The problem is that we are at racism overload at this point, and I doubt the media or the wh has the crediblity to spare in carrying acorn's water.

but if acorn goes down hard, it also means the messiah is damaged goods. the gop should push for the largest and broadest investigation that they can muster. even if swatted down by the dem majority, it just adds to the dems losses in crediblity.

How can you not be pleased? It's like when the rebels blew up the death star!

The crazy part is that ACORN has gotten away with soooo much for sooo long and all you had to do was walk in and tape them saying what they've said before.

I for one suggest that as the roaches run away from the light, we the people take shovels and dig in all of the ACORN leaders back yards, looking for the buried money.
