It's unfortunate to see ABC cast the Humana issue and McConnell's strong reaction to it as a battle over words. See video below with more at this link, including the full McConnell statement. As far as I know, tonight a gag order from a Federal agency barring a private company from honestly communicating with its customers is in place. That's a battle for words, not over them. It's also an egregious violation of the Constitution by an increasingly strong-armed government that seems to have scant regard for the First Amendment. That it would come from the administration of someone who purports to be a Constitutional scholar is all the more reason for deep concern. While political movements are often characterized as a desire to take one's government or country back in some manner, this time out, it may have more significance than one might usually think.


This has to be unconstitutional. The fact Baucas thinks he can is bad enough. But HHS thinking they can do it...that's nuts. But it is revealing.
