One would almost think the Palin 'news' obsession was a calculated and concerted effort to distract attention away from some other, actually newsworthy, issue.

I took Politico off my daily reading list because I didn't want to give them the traffic. Jonathan Martin was one of the biggest reasons I did that. He uses a lot of disreputable bloggers (Soros funded Iowa Indpendent, Colorado Confidential, etc.) as 'sources'. He just proved once again with this Palin story that he's a hack who should have his journalism degree revoked.
