We already know liberal activist blogger Jesse Griffin will say anything in his obsessive attempts to try and damage Sarah Palin and her family. So, it's somehow fitting that the Say Anything Blog would weigh in on the Griffin controversy. Yes, I believe we can go from incident to controversy. Unfortunately for that mope Jesse, it's about him and not Sarah Palin. And it couldn't be more richly deserved in this case. Check out the SayAnything blog entry here.
My new reports are down below this one on my main blog page and don't forget to check in on Stacy for any new material, as well. Not sure what schedule he's blogging today.

I have been reading you for quite some time, and I just have to tell you that I really appreciate and admire you for your fortitude and dogged persistence in this matter of Jesse "I really love children" Griffith...The time away from your family, and the expenses you have incurred, all in the course of searching for justice--if I wasn't one of the working poor, I would gladly hit your tip jar. Blogging hero's--thats what you and Stacey are! Thank you for this, and for the thoughtful articles I read over my coffee. I click on you, Hot Air, and Michelle first thing every day!

Thank you, Terri. working poor? That's the first qualification to be a full-time blogger!!
The tip jar doesn't matter nearly as much as the kind support I sometimes get from readers like you. Don't sweat it. And enjoy!
Posted by: Dan Riehl | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 10:52 AM
Well, Dan...seems you'll say pretty much anything as well.
WHAT is this all about?
At the end of the day it is nothing more than a sincere and vindictive effort to do as much harm as possible to someone you don't like - and you don't like them because they don't like someone you love.
And to think what the Obama camp gets accused of here.
This has been like reading the notes passed by junior high girls...99% gossip and innuendo.
Dress it up however you like, but that is all it is.
As much as you've gone to great pains to keep yourself within 'legal' boundaries, you've made no issue with respect to ethical ones. You've done just about everything but post a pic of this guy with a target on him. I'm sure you'd be shocked...just shocked if all this lead to any harm on him.
I get that anything Palin works well for you, but this one is just over the edge. I feel like I'm reading cult entries here...'someone has insulted our Sarah...they must be destroyed!!'
My gawd, man.
And why would it matter if SP was/wasn't getting divorced, may someday, may not...who cares??
Are you worried about her feelings? Are you defending her honor?
Newt G. is a philadering cad...should that be the reason folks reject the conservative policies he advocates? Had Bill Clinton been a monk would you then have embraced all of his ideas?
You really do need to move on...

"At the end of the day it is nothing more than a sincere and vindictive effort to do as much harm as possible to someone you don't like - and you don't like them because they don't like someone you love."
You mean like Griffin and the Obama Party who supports him have been doing to Sarah Palin.
So in other words, you're getting upset at Riehl for doing to Griffin what has been done on a systematic and continuous basis to Sarah Palin ever since her nomination for VP was announced, by the entire mechanism of the Obama Party and media.
Furthermore, you seem quite willing to sit here and lecture everyone about bad behavior, but we haven't seen you going to these blogs that are posting this crap about Palin and lecturing them.
What exactly makes what they're doing right? Obviously you think it is, since you certainly would not be so hypocritical as to keep your mouth shut when you see Obama Party members and Palin haters engaging in the type of behavior you're criticizing as evil, wrong, awful, and cultish over here.
Posted by: North Dallas Thirty | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 11:53 AM
Well, ND30...as you draw a correlation...you affirm the equivalent wrongdoing of Dan's
efforts here to the others you mention.
Appreciate the support and backing for my complaint here.
(As for Obama supporters behaving as badly, shame on them as well.)
Posted by: Mike2Cents | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 12:05 PM
"Well, ND30...as you draw a correlation...you affirm the equivalent wrongdoing of Dan's efforts here to the others you mention."
Correction. I merely point out that you seem quite obsessed with attacking Dan Riehl for allegedly doing things which Riehl has proven people are doing to Sarah Palin.
And, since you admit that Obama's supporters are behaving badly, it seems odd that you're not over there criticizing them. It makes rather obvious that you are a hypocrite whose only concern is attacking conservatives regardless of their behavior and protecting liberals who tell lies about Sarah Palin.
Posted by: North Dallas Thirty | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 12:20 PM
Well,ND30...you assume a lot, don't you.
But why address anything when you can just redirect?
Posted by: Mike2Cents | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 12:25 PM
M2C... please tell me how Dan has done anything different than griffin has, other then Dan has been correct and truthful? Or the celtic diva's of the world whom seem to live on the strife of others? Or the fact that when you blog and not comment, you should actually have some testicular fortitude and be a man about whatyou put in your blog and not make it up as you go.... which is obviously what "some' are doing.
This isn't a redirect.. this is asking YOU some questions. I have a feeling you won't be able to "reply" as the redirection you seem to do is like someone on a dance floor breakdancing.

Nice work on this story, Dan!
What a pathetic pile that guy really is........
Posted by: dad29 | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 12:34 PM
I'm not sure the two situations are parallel.
Jesse Griffing has posted several untrue and inflammatory rumors about Sarah Palin, that Trig is not her child and most recently that she is getting a divorce. The first has been proven unequivocally false, yet Jesse still has links up to this fantasy. The second has been denied by Palin and accompanied by a legal threat.
Jesse himself posted the letter that referenced his place of work. From Jesse's action, posting the information, Dan became interested in his 'real life' and did some research. Dan has not posted anything false about Jesse, indeed, he's stuck to highlighting Jesse's own words.
So, I don't see the equivalency here.
Posted by: anon | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 12:34 PM
Ok...
How IS it different? Because you feel Dan has been 'truthful' and JG hasn't?
JG's SP obsession is evident...and it's also evident he likely went with bad sources out of an eagerness to drag her down...something he obviously takes too much pleasure in.
Did he intentionally lie..be untruthful?
I have no idea...and neither do you or Dan.
Dan is equally obsessed...and that obsession has morphed into a singular mission...to destroy this guy.
They deserve each other.
But it reality, it's all happening in a pretty irrelevant and small bubble.
There is just too much b.s. from all directions here.
Silly.
Posted by: Mike2Cents | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 12:43 PM
M2C...
So griffin making up lies concerning Palin as Dan looked into the background of the man?
I see no comparison and you seriously have some "obsession" issues yourself.
Posted by: upinak | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 12:49 PM
Anon -
They might be parallel if JG had suggested/insinuated that SP or TP were possibly a threat to children.
Did he?
(I would be shocked if he had, btw.)
Posted by: Mike2Cents | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 12:50 PM
sorry, typo -
meant:
(I would NOT be shocked if he had, btw.)
Posted by: Mike2Cents | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 12:51 PM
Jesse has been blogging bs about Sarah Palin for almost a year now.
Dan has been researching Jesse for a week, and, again Dan has not posted anything that was untrue about Jesse, or any rumors.
While I don't agree that Jesse is any kind of danger to children, I don't think he has the emotional maturity/stability or personality that I would want to see in a classroom with 5 year olds: obsessive, a liar, a bully, vulgar, defensive, self agrandizing.
Posted by: Anon | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 12:51 PM
"JG's SP obsession is evident...and it's also evident he likely went with bad sources out of an eagerness to drag her down...something he obviously takes too much pleasure in."
LOL....and, as always, the liberal tries to blame other people and equivocate for the lies another liberal tells.
Notice how Mike2Cents refuses to state that Griffin's actions are irresponsible. Notice how Mike2Cents refuses to state that Griffin's actions are unethical. Notice how Mike2Cents insists that Griffin did not do anything wrong.
Posted by: North Dallas Thirty | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 12:51 PM
No, the parallel would be if Dan had posted unfounded rumors or false information about Jesse. He didn't.
Posted by: Anon | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 12:53 PM
Come, on...seriously -
I wrote:
" it's also evident he likely went with bad sources out of an eagerness to drag her down...something he obviously takes too much pleasure in."
I do not support JG blogging what he blogs, and I would agree it is irrepsonsible.
But, whatever.
Posted by: Mike2Cents | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 12:58 PM
"They might be parallel if JG had suggested/insinuated that SP or TP were possibly a threat to children."
LOL....notice the "might" there. Mike2Cents refuses to take any stance that could require him to say that his pal and fellow Obama Party Palin hater Griffin was wrong.
The funny part is going to be next when Mike2Cents, who used to believe that Trig Truthers were crazy, unethical, immoral idiots, finds out what his buddy Griffen believes in that regard. I think we'll see another example of how the Mike2Cents puppet will beclown himself to protect his pal Gryph.
Posted by: North Dallas Thirty | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 12:59 PM
Oh, and what makes Mike2Cents's blabbering about "bad sources" really funny?
Not even the blogger himself believes that one.
"Yes I stand by every single word of it. Believe me if it had been wholly inaccurate you would NEVER have witnessed such a response by the Palin team and their minions."
http://theimmoralminority.blogspot.com/2009/08/not-kindergarten-ta.html
So Mike2Cents expects us to sit here and buy his Obama-puppet spinning bull about "bad sources" when over yonder, the person for whom he's trying to equivocate is bragging about "stand(ing) by every single word of it".
These are the kind of lies that Barack Obama pulls, and for some reason, we're supposed to accept these lies because Obama is black, just like we're supposed to accept Jesse Griffin's lies because he hates Sarah Palin. It makes you wonder what problems people like Mike2Cents have that they allow Barack Obama and Jesse Griffin to make utter and complete fools out of them like this.
Posted by: North Dallas Thirty | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 01:06 PM
ND30...sorry, it just can't be an intellectually honest or worthy argument/debate if you're going to ascribe to me beliefs I don't have, suggest my defense of things I don't defend, etc.
So with all due respect, I'll leave you to your rants without comments or replies.
Best.

"Dan is equally obsessed...and that obsession has morphed into a singular mission...to destroy this guy."
Oh for Pete's sake. How silly liberals can get. Really. This statement deserves to be engraved in granite and on display in the Famous Statement Gallery alongside of "That depends upon what the definition of is, is.".
Dan was threatened by Jesse. Recall the email that Dan posted here on this site? In it Jesse talked of having a lawyer and contacting the ACLU.
Dan smelled a story. He was/is in the process of following the leads out to their natural end. That's called reporting. See:
v. re·port·ed, re·port·ing, re·ports
v.tr.
1. To make or present an often official, formal, or regular account of.
2. To relate or tell about; present: report one's findings.
3. To write or provide an account or summation of for publication or broadcast: report the news.
4. To submit or relate the results of considerations concerning: The committee reported the bill.
5. To carry back and repeat to another: reported the rumor of a strike.
6. To complain about or denounce: reported them to the principal.
The facts didn't go your way here M2C. Have some class and give Dan credit. Your continual pile-on makes you look as sensible as your fellow potty mouthed Palin haters.
We always knew the Left's hatred of George Bush had to find itself a target once he left office. Sarah Palin is it. But do us a favor. Hate her for the real reason -because she's a feminist ideal who smashed that ideal by giving birth to a less than perfect human being.
Posted by: Mrs. Peperium | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 01:17 PM
Well, that and because she's a feminist ideal, except for the part about being completely subservient to misogynist Obama Party men like Jesse Griffin.
His type attack her for not being their obedient slave.
The CelticDivas, Shannyn Moores, and such of the world attack her because she demonstrates to them that a woman does not have to support promiscuity, lazy welfare addicts, government control of everything, and infanticide to be liked, loved, and looked up to.
Posted by: North Dallas Thirty | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 01:29 PM
NDT,Nor does she have to put up with a husband who is the POTUS and employs his WH interns as personal cigar humidors. Then when he gets caught, during his next SOU speech to the country, bites his lip, looks his beloved ball and chain up in the gallery with tears gathering in the corners of his eyes and says, "I honor you."
Gesh, what some women on the Left will endure to become Secretary of State.
Posted by: Mrs. Peperium | Thursday, August 06, 2009 at 01:45 PM
Not sure what Bill and Hillary Clinton have to do with this issue, thoughy I will say that they endured more than their share of baseless smears and rumor mongering by the Right.
If Hillary wants to stick with her philandering husband, that is none of my business. Same goes for Spitzer, Edwards, Sanford, you name it. I am not interested in the sex lives of public officials if what they are doing is legal and consensual. Period. GOP or Dem. Not interested.
I'm not sure why feminists hate Palin so much though, maybe because she always played the game as a woman and didn't try to desex herself, maybe she has too many kids, its really kind of inexplicable.

Mike0sense,
Just go away. You said you were leaving ("So with all due respect, I'll leave you to your rants without comments or replies."), so leave.
We aren't impressed with your faulty logic, we know the facts disprove your claims, and your hamfisted attempts to minimize and deflect negative attention from your fellow-traveller Perv Griffin are not effective.
You and Jessie need some remedial leftist-agitator training from MoveOutOfYourMomsBasement.org. Why don't you attend a townhall meeting with your congressperson and watch them get rhetorically tarred and feathered by their constituents. THAT'S how you implement change.
Just go away.

Mike0sense,
"Hyman -
I said i wouldn't comment on ND30 anymore -
Read again what I wrote, and this time in context.
As for the rest of your comments...
Ok, whatever."
No, you DIDN'T say that. I quoted you verbatim, and you said nothing of the sort. You may have intended the comment to ND30 but you did not express that in your words. So why don't YOU read it again, this time for the actual words you typed, and not your imaginary meanings and Kerryesque nuances.
But I can't say that I expected better from someone who proclaims:
"Newt G. is a philadering cad" (while having no information on that man's situation)
and then has the audacity (of hope?) to claim:
"I do endeavor to avoid the personal when engaged in a debate. It actually works better that way."
What is it with you liberals? Do you get frequent flyer miles for each hypocritical statement?
And, lay off the "unworthy"s, "endeavor"s and other pretensions to sophistication. We aren't buying it. Just like America is not buying your 0bamessiah's snake oil.

Is it something about Obama?
Wrong thread.
And if you needed clarification about what I wrote, well now you have it.
Happy to help.
Posted by: Mike2Cents | Friday, August 07, 2009 at 04:51 PM
Mike0sense,
"you have a gift for hyperbole, but do you have something to say?"
Don't try to project your own behavior onto me, kid. You're the one who tries to triangulate, obfuscate and change the subject. Example: this thread is about Jessie "Perv" Griffin, yet you bring up Newt Gingrich? To quote a dolt: "Wrong thread."
Why do you waste your time here? That's what it is, a waste. No one takes you seriously, and no one believes your claims. Are you so desperate for attention that you welcome having your lies ridiculed instead of just being ignored? Do you actually think you can convince anyone here that you are right?
You must live a pretty pathetic existence: lurking here, poring over the comments with a magnifying glass, desperately trying to find a grammatical error that you can point out (and distort) as "proof" that "they" are wrong.
So what are you? I mean, the Venn diagram of Palin-haters and Obama-worshippers has 90% overlap. Are you a single-issue crank, or a two-fer?

Then go find some sun or something, take a walk.
You are too upset at me personally.
