It's Un-Patriotic To Question "The One"

Oh, lawd! Who knew. Questioning the WH during a war like Iraq, when American lives are at risk in real-time - well, that's just a display of one's patriotism. But questioning O-Dumbo and getting his ears all a'fllapin' over health care ... well, you're obviously un-patriotic, un-American and most likely one of those gosh danged racists, too.

However, it is now evident that an ugly campaign is underway not merely to misrepresent the health insurance reform legislation, but to disrupt public meetings and prevent members of Congress and constituents from conducting a civil dialogue. These tactics have included hanging in effigy one Democratic member of Congress in Maryland and protesters holding a sign displaying a tombstone with the name of another congressman in Texas, where protesters also shouted "Just say no!" drowning out those who wanted to hold a substantive discussion.

Do these morons consult Disney to help them flesh out what a caricature of a responsible member of government should look like and how one should act? They're so transparent they must then haul the plans off to Anderson Windows to construct.

These people are a joke.

Only Obama can tell people to shut up. And if you don't do it, or worse, say shut up to the mostly lying opposition in return, then maybe we should build a camp for people like you. Man, this idiot can't leave office soon enough. And some of his useless, useful idiots like Hoyer and Pelosi need to mount the bus out of town with him, provided he hasn't tossed them under it first earlier in the route.

It's an incredibly simple equation. I no longer go to the movies. F*ck Hollywood (I adored film, and was quite the amateur cutter). I no longer buy/rent new/retail DVD's (the library ain't the worst place to get your pablum).

Though this claim will undoubtedly be jeered at by the Left, they will not be able to come up with a single instance of George Bush attacking the premise of dissent or of ever, despite eight years of the most withering personal slander and hate directed against him, comparably personalizing or slandering or in most cases of even complaining about his attackers and the vile and relentless nature of their attacks.

Within one week of winning power Barack Obama began his bleating over "talk radio" and actually singled out an American, Rush Limbaugh, as some kind of interference to governance. It is perhaps not possible to measure the intellectual and political insecurity of such a man; without doubt he betrays the operative fear and loathing of dissent that so animates the Left that its leaders must now declare, without the slighest sense of irony over their consolidated and degrading assaults on the presidency and their nearly unified efforts to undermine and even lose a war for eight years, that this civil townhall dissent is "un-American." But going from slanderous lies to breathtakingly, blind-to-irony slanderous lies is no big step for the Left.

The people who have perfected "shouting down" voices they don't like to hear for generations suddenly, when faced with a ragtag challenge to their total rule -- their total control over the government and media and very nearly the popular culture -- shriek un-American". These are people who could pass any bill they want any time they want, but still feel the compulsive need to slander the slightest resistance. Not only slander, but intimidate and beat up.

Still, I ask, where are the conservative leaders to seize this moment?
