Is anyone else starting to sense a pattern here? Or, is it more like a way of life and government operations in an Obama administration?
Who needs Rove and Cheney around to schedule closed and even secret meetings with no media allowed when you have Obama, Axelrod, Rahm and Co.? Too bad manufacturing isn't their thing, as opposed to tearing that and several other industries down.
In another sign that the White House will play a very hands-on role during the looming Congressional health care wars of August, senior Obama adviser David Axelrod is set to hold a private messaging session with House Dems tomorrow on the Hill, I’m told.
With a House Dem bill closer to reality, the battle will shift to a new phase: Selling it. And according to an email to House Dems that was sent over by a source, Axelrod and top White House health care adviser Nancy DeParle will be attending a breakfast with members to discuss “health care reform messaging.”
“This meeting is MEMBERS-ONLY,” the email reads, meaning no press and no staff.

The simple fact that he was hell-bent on Aug. 1 should show how interested he is on the public’s input and opinion of his legislation. When you think about that, it's tomorrow, he wanted the whole thing passed by tomorrow. 1/6th of the American economy, don't read it, don't discuss it, just pass it, cause Obama said so dammit! This after he had been shown to not know what’s inside of the bill. Nobody does for that matter. It’s 1k+ pages of legalese, and it needs to rushed through? What does that tell you about his mentality?

I see no lack of transparency, not in the least. We can see clear through him. Every time he opens his mouth, the mask slips further away. There's just nothing there.

Cool. Will they be wearing the 'Members Only' line of sartorial splendor?
