"--- Speakers will include actor Stephen Baldwin (Alec's younger, much smarter, brother) ... ---"

Really...? "Smarter than Alec B." really isn't saying much. That's like being smarter than a bag of hammers just about.

I wish I could make it, but work, ya know....

This will be *almost* as entertaining as the 15 mental patients recruited to protest Letterman. You guys will never learn. Thank goodness, because it's hilarious every time.

Seekeronos -
Where is your passion for the cause?
:)

Also, you have been quoting some obscure Japanese (I think) economist who is predicting Obama will step down, 35% unemployment, armed insurrection in the streets, etc.
Do you have a link or anything to this person?
I Googled the name and it didn't come up with much of anything aside from some of your posts referencing him.

Thanks.

What will be the greatest entertainment ever will the show where Letterman and Stewart are be the only idiots in Manhattan left who will be picking up the huge tab for the tax-into-slavery-party being thrown by Hollywood DC.

Like I said, hilarious every time, syn. Which one of the mental patients were you at the Letterman protest?

Actually, Patrick, what's hilarious is how your Obama Party is still trying to argue that Sarah Palin faked her pregnancy.

http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/2009/06/and-the-story-the-msm-still-wont-touch.html

And here's something even more hilarious, Patrick; Barack Obama and your Obama Party used Treasury money to secure their individual assets.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/06/30/AR2009063004229_pf.html

"Sen. Daniel K. Inouye's staff contacted federal regulators last fall to ask about the bailout application of an ailing Hawaii bank that he had helped to establish and where he has invested the bulk of his personal wealth.

The bank, Central Pacific Financial, was an unlikely candidate for a program designed by the Treasury Department to bolster healthy banks. The firm's losses were depleting its capital reserves. Its primary regulator, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., already had decided that it didn't meet the criteria for receiving a favorable recommendation and had forwarded the application to a council that reviewed marginal cases, according to agency documents.

Two weeks after the inquiry from Inouye's office, Central Pacific announced that the Treasury would inject $135 million......

The most similar known case comes from the House. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) arranged a meeting between regulators and OneUnited of Massachusetts, a bank in which her husband held shares. Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), who did not own shares in the company, subsequently inserted language into the bailout bill that effectively directed the Treasury to give special consideration to that bank."

Mike: Try this link (it is in Japanese)

http://www.soejima.to/

I read a bit of Japanese (though not as well as my wife, heheh).

Admittedly, his views are a bit coloured from a perspective of a Japanese nationalist (he is something akin to the Japanese version of a Peter Schiff crossed with a little bit of Pat Buchanan) and his predictions have thus far had over a 90% accuracy rate (based upon repeating historical patterns).

He accurately predicted the collapse of the housing bubble as far back as 2003, and the rise of Obama from relative obscurity in 2005.

His chief lament is the fact that when the USA collapses, Japan will follow shortly thereafter, having overextended itself to help bailout the USA.

Japan for that matter, faces its own massive national deficit in the face of an aging populace and an insufficient young population to prop up its version of the social security ponzi scheme.

He makes his claims regarding the oncoming economic storm in his latest book.

I read the Andrew Sullivan piece just now -
(In which he does say "I do not know what happened and the benefit of the doubt should go to Palin").
I think the 'baby isn't Sarah Plain's' stuff has been been soundly put to rest for most folks.
But until ND30 pointed to the AS post, I'd forgotten about that bizarre trip from Texas for the birth.
You'd have to just be plain ga-ga over the Governor not to wonder what in hell led to all that.
I fully accept her version of these events, and I'm still stunned.

"Senator Al Franken".

Wellll there goes Cap and Trade - especially if the now (D) supermajority decides to make it the matter unfilibusterable.

AS I doubt the Dems want to get wiped out in 2010, it won't pass the Senate. Not as is, certainly.

Nice try to selectively quote, Mike.

"But the more her pregnancy with Trig becomes a campaign platform, a serious inquiry into exactly what happened in those few surreal days - days and decisions that she has made public and that reflect vital questions about her character and judgment - remains on the shelf of media deference. And the key witnesses who could verify it all - Palin herself, her husband, her doctor - still refuse to even take questions on the most bizarre series of events in Palin's entire life."

Why should she?

Andrew Sullivan is merely trying to in some way rationalize the lie that Barack Obama told that Sarah Palin faked her pregnancy by blaming the fact that Obama keeps repeating this lie on Palin's telling Sullivan to go pound sand.

So let's see how this worked. Obama's bizarre behavior leads me to believe that he rapes his daughters. He could easily verify that he doesn't by releasing his daughter's confidential medical records and having his wife, physician, and daughters' pediatrician testify on record that he doesn't. Obviously, the fact that he refuses to do so indicates that he does indeed rape his daughters.

"Actually, Patrick, what's hilarious is how your Obama Party is still trying to argue that Sarah Palin faked her pregnancy."

Sullivan? Seriously? Who cares? Oh yeah, you and Sullivan when he isn't preening about turning his font green. Found the birth certificate yet? In any event, Caribu Barbie made herself and her trashy family political props in order to gain national attention. That's on her. This is what happens.

Hilarious for us. Pretty sad for the kid she obviously despises though.

Please find some *sane* opposition to Obama so that we can get this country moving. Instead all we'll have is the corporate interests paying off Dems instead of GOPers. Who am I kidding; you all love Molly Mooseburgers and nothing will change that.

LOL....well, Patrick, since you think Obama needs to be "opposed", why don't you spell out specifically what Obama is doing wrong?

BTW, to those who don't know, this is a standard method of defeating an Axelrod troll.

Here's what happens next:

1) Patrick attacks Palin again

2) Patrick namecalls me for daring to ask

3) Patrick blames GWB for all of Obama's problems

Nowhere does Patrick spell out what Obama is doing wrong.

ND30 -
That is one wacky comeback on my post.
Yes, I did select a quote (how novel) from the AS piece you linked.
Let me do the same for you...you write:
'the lie that Barack Obama told that Sarah Palin faked her pregnancy by blaming the fact that Obama keeps repeating this lie'.
Did you mean to actually say that?
If you did, well then your are quite literally delusional.
But in the spirit of AS, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume got confused only for this moment.
(And as for the 'rapes' bit - if you wanna try and be clever to make a point, fine. But inventing that crude analogy just makes you look like an ass.)

"Did you mean to actually say that?"

Yup. Barack Obama told the lie that Sarah Palin faked her pregnancy; Kos and Sullivan repeated it for him and continue to repeat it.

Why is that so difficult to understand? After all, you don't expect that "intelligent liberals" like Kos and Sullivan would make such an idiotic mistake, don't you?

"But inventing that crude analogy just makes you look like an ass."

How so? Obama Party members laugh when statements are made about raping children. Why so sensitive when The One's children are the ones in question, especially given that the Obama Party says that peoples' families are perfectly legitimate targets?

http://news.bostonherald.com/news/regional/politics/view/2008_09_02_Barney_Frank:_Sarah_Palin_s_family_life_is_fair_game/

How about a link that backs up "Barak told the lie"...
or did he write it down on the back of his missing birth certificate?

It's not difficult to understand you, unfortunately.

I gave you one. Daily Kos and Andrew Sullivan, both puppets of Obama, published and posted the lie. There is no way either of these individuals would have said anything of the sort without direct orders from Barack Obama.

Ohhhh...
Of course...yes, they were given direct orders to write this, by Obama.
OK, well now I see.
He is SO sneaky, that Barak Obama.
Good to know you are keeping a close watch.
