Actually, the first song is more a favorite than the second. But you have to watch the second video. Contrast the black drummer at 30 seconds in with the white back-up band at around one minute in. Crica 1967. What an embarassing time for white America, particularly when it came to fashion and style.


Dan I am sure you can attest to the fact that the late 70's were much more sophisticated....I remember those years like it was yesterday....

Waist band shirts
and yes...platform sandals and yellow socks!!!
And yes everyone on the Seaside Boardwalk was staring at you because you were the best dressed guy there!

Ack! Just remembered that 7 foot dude that tried to choke me out outside the club. ehh - someone's car roof took a beating that night, as I recall.
