they grabbed the wheel when they felt bush was driving towards cliff, but in the process unsnapped their safety belts and hit the accelerator.

an irony?
the left wanted Iraq to be the legacy of bush, and now that doesn't look so bad. in their obsession with Iraq, they forgot to make the case(truthful or not) against his economic policies.

they could only pick one horse to bet on, and the race results were just made offical. The dems horse?

"The war is lost." funny how reid has 34% approval rating in his homestate. When he implodes, chunks of him are going to hit daschle in SD. In theory, if the gop takes the house, the outcome will be devastating.

losing a majority leader and the house is quite a feat for a two year presidency.
