I give hillary credit for the incrementalism.
obama is going to try (and fail) do it all at once.

she has to be laughing herself silly, watching him blow it. hillary is a bright girl, and would probably have done more to get as much of the healthcare agenda passed. obama's peeps should have known that with the decline of ted, they would need her help.

sadly for obama, but happily for the country, the hubris of team obama would never want to give hrc any credit.

I'm watching the dems in the senate, as the dems in the congress are also watching...

the cap and trade turned into a disaster, when pelosi twisted arms only to watch the senate shoot her down. lot of moderates spilled blood over it, with nothing to show for it.

healthcare is now dead. there is no leadership in the senate willing to support obama specifcally or broadly, outside of boxer. the dems in congress have pretty much lost faith in rahm's ability to move the senate.

demint was right.

waterloo.

Exactly. Imagine what a capable leader for the dems could have done with the numbers in congress and momentum they had going into 2009. Instead they seem to have blown it all on a crappy stimulus and that's that.
