No one who claims to have been a "neo-con" while they were in HIGH SCHOOL has any understanding of what "neo-con", or even "con", means.

Is letting children act as political pundits the latest attempt to be "modern"?

Obviously these are not new conservatives; they are leftists spamming conservative web sites. George Soros likely hired them.

I agree with Sgt. Tim.
Appears these dorks (with one R) run in packs, too.
"Someone like Nathan Origer (with one R)–a smart guy and a good friend–is ripped as a moron and as deranged"
I think MORON (with one R) is more appropriate, or sophomoric.
Anyway, thanks for identifying another Moron (with one R), so I don't have to waste my time reading their schlock.
Thank goodness Mark Levin cuts his moronic callers off, it's a relief when he does.

You know Dan, I partly blame WFB... His big heart ruled where his head ought to have prevailed by elevating the likes of Lowry and Frum. Today any squish who can spell "lower taxes" qualifies as a "conservative." The acid test had always been Liberty, and that's why One-N, Frum and so many others of that ilk are being rejected.

BTW, I'm listening to Levin's show right now. After having forced myself to read the first quarter of one of Frum's books, thinkers such as Levin are refreshing.

Palin 2012.

Thin skinned jerk. I left a fairly innocuous comment and it was censored.

The problem with pseudo-intellectuals like this guy are that they have read just enough to think themselves smart enough to hang with people who not only have read the same things they have, but also have a clue as to discern what parts are applicable to the real world, and which parts are perhaps somewhat outdated. He writes for TAC, which is basically the right-wing version of the Nation (yeah, a real bastion of intellectual powerhouse that) so he's got to mention Kirk and Nisbet. It's a version of name dropping backed up by zero analysis. Yawn.

The title was meant to be ironic, which any half-wit could see:

"So instead of proper political discourse (see: Buckley v. Chomsky on Firing Line years ago) we get Levin v. Anonymous-Leftist-Moron. Instead of 'Mark Levin, an overly-bellicose and misguided thinker,' we get 'Mark Levin, a loud-mouthed retard.' Two can play at Levin’s game, but the soul of American Conservatism is at risk when we accept the rules on his terms."

P.S. What kind of creep links to facebook profiles??

"You know Dan, I partly blame WFB... Today any squish who can spell "lower taxes" qualifies as a 'conservative.' ... Palin 2012."

And now the $10,000 question, Ran: Is your lack of self-awareness a sign of real stupidity, or are you just being tartly ironic?

PJ, you are an idiot, aren't you? Ironic, but someone told you to change it and you did so people wouldn't realize what you did? Now, that's ironic, considering your weak attempt. And as for Facebook - what, it's public but off-limits, somehow?

Looks like they have another live one at AmCon. DO they grow you simpletons?

Dan, that is not irony. Irony is someone like you calling someone else an anti-intellectual idiot.

Another epic fail for that, Tessa. To the extent I've even discussed the issue here, I said quite plainly I am proud to be more of an anti-intellectual, than an intellectal.

The irony is when dopes like PJ, who apparently don't even understand what a neocon is, presume Levin, or me, to be one.

Do you folks ever get anything right? It seems not.

Astroturfers galore, it seems. Again, these people are just so envious of Levin's superior intellect, talents and successes they think they can get famous by whining about him. Like the Palin haters. Who is this Ford idiot again?

When American Conservative mag first came out, I gave it a glance and threw it back on the stand like it was radioactive. Those are not us the base. I don't know what they are.

This whole pile-on of Mark Levin is nothing more than today's version of a game of touch football (pun intended) at the Kennedy Compound. The Kennedy boys, as the whole world learned the hard way especially the female of the species, were "politically immature", "worldly", "non-religious" and into conservation. Look how well all that worked out them...

(Yes, I know I took politically immature completely out of context. And do you know what? It was fun! * Sigh * Oh to be more like Mark Levin... Cheers!)
