Patrick worked for McCain. He's posted on the Palin bashing issue. Scarborough is an irrelevant goof who can't give away his new book. The guy's a genuine buffoon.
Take a look at this Wednesday Morning Joe exchange between Willy Geist, Joe Scarborough and Mike Allen of the Politico. You’ve got the full range of Sarah Palin two minutes hate in this one. Mike Allen calls her a “circus act.” Joe calls her a “joke” and compares her to Dan Quayle. Allen proceeds to advise her to go back to Alaska. Willie says she needs to study the issues and then informs viewers that they haven’t written her off yet.
And what did the lovely Governor of Alaska do to deserve this morning thrashing? Um … she had the gall to be the subject of a Vanity Fair hit piece by Todd Purdum.

sorry joe.
dead intern in your office? interns fall down and hit their heads and die by themselves all the time.
please joe, if there are any "cosmic jokes", you are the punchline.

I don't know who is more afraid of Sarah, me or everyone on the left. I suspect tthe latter because I know she'd disappear in no time if they'd stop dragging her out.

Mike Volpe does a good review on the Palin hit piece -
"Is Pardum serious? Does he really expect the readers to believe that layman use such clinical terms? Does he really expect us to believe that non psychiatrists consulted the "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders"? Pardum's piece is another in a long line of pieces that can't seem to find one person in all of Alaska that could say a nice thing about her despite the fact that she's still overwhelmingly popular there. There it is. The article is 9000 words more or less like those I quoted. The New York Times published a similar hit piece during the campaign. That received scant coverage. I wish this had wound up the same."

MILBANK, S.D. -- Former President Bill Clinton today unleashed a salty stream of epithets to describe former New York Times reporter and current Vanity Fair writer Todd Purdum, calling him "sleazy," "dishonest," "slimy" and a "scumbag."

sounds like there is some bipartisan sentiments on purdum.

"sleazy," "dishonest," "slimy" and a "scumbag."
And Clinton would certainly know his own kind

Did anyone here actually watch this?
Dan??
"Mike Allen calls her a “circus act.”
No, he suggests that many Republicans don't want the 'circus act' that is her rock star energizing the base appearances. That is much more a criticism of the attempts to use her...he is not calling her personally a 'circus act'. Man.
"Joe calls her a “joke” and compares her to Dan Quayle."
He's actually suggesting that the media made their minds up about her from day one...not calling her a joke. He is actually echo-ing many of the complaints seen here about the 'msm'.
"Allen proceeds to advise her to go back to Alaska"
He quite clearly seems to be saying that she needs to spend more time being again successful in AK so that she can more substantively re-enter the national political area without any of the present day caricatures...both the left's AND the right's.
If Dan is gonna just link to the analysis of others...it'd be worth his and others' time to take two seconds to actually verify that it isn't as lame and inaccurate as this Hynes' post.

I watched the interview just now...
you failed to mention mike allen-
"it's hard to see her being taken as a serious person, do disagree with that joe?
joey: "no..."
joe even says, in an "objective" tone, on quayle-"his fate was sealed with the mainstream media..."
wtf are joey and mike?
for the record: i believe she sucks a lot of oxygen out the room for others to appear who have far better understanding and knowledge. it wasn't exactly a problem with barack, despite an equivalent level of intelligence on govt matters.
