More background on our nation's capitol and pay-to-play politics via Eric at RedState.
First, throw no stones at Mike Allen. I know the inclination of some of you will be to attack the messenger and not the message. But what Mike Allen is reporting on is a dirty little secret among a number of organizations, both right and left, in Washington, D.C.

Well, to be fair, the good and moral Christians in the GOP needed to raise money for their sex romps at C-Street somehow. In any event, when good and moral Christians of the GOP engage in such behavior its really ok because they are better than the rest of us. Just ask them; they'll tell you any chance they get.

Right AND left do pay for play? What left? Redstate says, ominously, "I am looking at you Move On." Why is he looking at Move On? When has Move On been paid to espouse the position of a corporation that would hugely benefit from Federal legislation? Maybe he meant the Black Chamber of Commerce and Exxon? Maybe he meant Abramoff and Delay in the K Street pay for play scheme? It appears that pay for play is just the Republicans view on the free market of ideas.
You may disagree with MoveOn's politics but how lazy is someone who links to nonsense and repeats nonsense?

Wally, since you ran and hid when you were called out on this last night, I simply shall repeat myself.
"Exxon has funneled millions to climate change deniers and has funneled over $350,000 to Alford's group alone."
So let's see; among those climate change denier groups are the Congressional Black Caucus, the National Black Caucus of State Legislators, the National Bureau of Asian Research, and the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
Plus the NAACP.

The problem here, Wally, is twofold.
One, you are incensed at the thought of a black man, who you feel should be bowing before you and kissing your feet for being a liberal, actually daring to disagree with you.
Two, you don't believe a black man should ever talk back to a white woman.
So you go on a rampage to try to trash this person and impugn his organization because a corporation that you don't like donated to them.
You are a racist, Wally. That much is patently obvious.

This blog has many hateful, angry people. And Riehl, of course, plays to them. But many others here, though radical in their rightwing politics, can still debate and communicate in mature,non-hateful way. Unfortunately, you are one of the former and I don't respond to people like you. Please try yoga or therapy or just get some friends. You seem very troubled.

LOL....classic. The liberal who has no response tries to claim the person who dares to criticize him is mentally disturbed.
Are you a psychiatrist or psychologist, Wally? If so, Riehl will provide your IP address so I can report you to your certification board for your complete breach of medical ethics in trying to diagnose someone who you've never met in person, and most likely you will lose your license.
If you're not a psychiatrist or psychologist, then you're speaking on a subject on which you have no qualification whatsoever to comment, and it makes it obvious that you're merely trying to insult and smear me instead of responding intelligently.
You are right that this board has many hateful, angry people -- and you're one of them.
