This in email from Military Families United. What really grates is the liberals incessant need to use the military for social engineering experiments in every way they can. Talk about dictatorial.
But I suppose they have to do something with it, after all. Lord knows, it would take something more than a Pearl Harbor II to ever get them to use it effectively, aside from a peace keeping force. This is particularly pathetic and un-American.
Washington, DC - Brian Wise, Executive Director of Military Families United, a national military family and national security advocacy organization, released the following statement concerning the proposed ban of smoking in the military, even by combat troops in war zones.
“With all the issues facing our military today and the risks our troops take to protect our freedom, banning smoking should not even be on the radar screen.

You mean like integration?

No, Riehl means like banning smoking.
Furthermore, Slide, given that Barack Obama and the Obama Party openly support declaring our troops "uninvited and unwelcome intruders" and groups that attack, assault, and vandalize our military members and military locations, this looks like little more than the typical attempt by leftists to make our soldiers' lives miserable for daring to choose to be in the military.

Sure, we can ban smoking in the military - just AFTER it is banned for all Congressmen, Senators, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Cabinet Secretaries, Czars, their staffs, all civil service members and any other personal employed by the government or quasi-government agency. Also, before the miliary smoking ban, I think we should also ban all fried foods and sugary snacks for the aforementioned groups.
Afterall, its about lost productivity and costs, isn't it? Why except ANY government employee?
Good-bye freedom and liberty. It was such a frail thing afterall.

Oops, I didn't mean to leave the president and VP off the list - especially the president: Obama: No smoking, no hamburgers, no ice cream, no waffles with surup. Its not good for you and therefore, not good for the country.

Oh my dear Ms. Lily...
Of course, you realize that with the liberal oligarchist elites... "what is good for the goose" is seldom ever taken by the ganders as something that should apply to them.
Whilst all of us other barnyard animals who are kept from such "dangerous excesses" as cigarettes, sugar, and trans fats - the nominally socialist pigs running this left-wing barnyard dance will wear their Armani suits and drink the finest wines, eat the best Swiss-made confections, and gorge on fatty tuna sushi and beluga caviar.
Because every good liberal knows that we poor, under-"edja-mahcated" troglodyte types wouldn't have the first idea about what is good for own health or not... so, they tax us to death and strip away even the last illusion of liberty whilst they make themselves all the more powerful and harder to shift in the coming (s)elections.

Slide -
Funny that you should mention integration, one of Senator Robert Byrd's (D-KKK) favorite subjects:
Byrd said in the Dec. 11, 1945, letter -- which would not become public for 42 more years with the publication of a book on blacks in the military during World War II by author Graham Smith -- that he would never fight in the armed forces "with a Negro by my side." Byrd added that, "Rather I should die a thousand times, and see old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels."
