It looks to me as though Obama is getting far too much push back from his own party to sell this thing. As for Estrich, do Hillary-ites really want Obama to succeed where Hillary failed? Especially given that, if his numbers really go south, I could see her challenging him in 2012. Via No Sheeples, also with a fresh new design. (link to item here) She has some other links, as well.
In her piece, Mother Knows Best, Ms. Estrich seems at once alarmed that “The president is ‘not familiar’ with the bill. No one can explain how it will work yet, as Sen. Ben Cardin, D-Md., told a contentious town meeting. There are various plans, and negotiations are still in the early stages. But whatever it is, we should be for it. Am I missing something?”

Well, if this item is any indication... the god-king just might be stepping outside of his bailiwick just a tad.
Some of his lead satraps ain't to happy with him, incl. Barney "the Gay Whoremongerer" Frank and other players for ObamaCare™

It comes down to the matter of IT'S A DEMOCRATIC BILL SO IT MUST BE GOOD. JUST SIGN THE DAMN THING AND GET ON WITH OTHER MATTERS are the way the dems and Obama feel about it. The King has spoken.
They could care less about what WE THE PEOPLE THINK.
All those sob stories he was telling about all these letters he gets everyday are BS. He want tell you how many letters he gets everyday telling him HELL NO. You want here folks talk about that. OH NO....!!
Why can't the general public read the bill ?? WHY ????
It is obvious that the congress is not going to read it.
Who the hell is writing the bill('s)? Why do they hate old folks. Unreal some of the things I have read that are in it. UNREAL!
These people running (ruining) our country need to be thrown out of office and tarred and feathered.

Didn't we just get in a lot of trouble because people didn't read their adjustable rate mortgages and bought complicated investments they didn't understand? And weren't there many who trusted Bernie?

The worst I heard was that we will have to give up treatment that doesn't make us better. I know some sick people who get treatment that stabilizes them but it doesn't make them "better" like Lupus, brain tumors, Huntington's, MS, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, and so on. I guess they'll just have to take the morphine until they die.

I'm reminded of a comment made a few years ago, when the French were expected to vote "yes" on the referendum for the EU constitution. Someone -- Villepin? -- was asked if the French people have even read the EU constitution. He replied: "No, they haven't read it. If they did read it, they wouldn't understand it. If they did understand it, they wouldn't like it. But they should vote for it anyway."
It's painful to see that sort of thing happen here.

my favorite from obama's "take a pill" appearance?
the woman tells him that he mother has lived 6 years after getting a pacemaker, and obama refers to her situation as a question of end of life care.
the woman was insulted, becuase she was trying to make the point that doctors had wanted to forego a life altering/improving treatment because they believed as the president. Obama should have jumped on the question, expressing his pride in her longevity and the care that she 'eventually' received.
This is the huge difference between obama and wjc...
bill could play flatterer, and then hitch a ride on the person he builds up. Obama wanted the discussion to be about him and his policies and wasn't willing to pay attention, even as a token gesture, for fear of not being the center of attention.
