Andrew Sullivan in linking Ross Douthat's item on Sarah Palin from today. Most have heard about Palin's accomplishments in Alaska related to energy and an old line corrupt Republican establishment, among others as governor. I'm unaware of any lies she has been proven to have told. So, just who is the delusional liar here, Sullivan, or Sarah Palin?
Ross chronicles the meteoric rise and fall of the biggest farce in American politics in living memory. The column is yet another rehash of the Nixonian class resentments and Rovian cynicism that dominate what passes for the GOP's thinking classes: if only she'd waited and "boned up" on the issues, she could have had a real future. Er: How about nominating someone who actually knew something about some issues before she was picked? Or someone who could at least give a passing imitation of even being interested in them? Did that ever occur to Ross?
He mentions not a single policy issue, nor a single actual accomplishment this hood ornament of a candidate can be credited with. He mentions not one of her increasingly fantastic delusions and lies. But somehow it's her elitist enemies' fault that she came acropper!

Glenn has a nice little essay about Sarah Palin (at 6:49 PM on his site)
That's www.instapundit.com for those who may not know who I'm referencing.

"He mentions not one of her increasingly fantastic delusions and lies."
Poor Excitable Andy doesn't want to realize he's actually referring to himself. It's obviously a subconscious cry for help.

Sorry, I didn't read the link, should have.

"He mentions not one of her increasingly fantastic delusions and lies." Sounds like the classical Diva Worship Syndrome flipped over. Right... "increasingly" fantastic, no less.
Any thoughts from Boy Andie about "95% of Americans will see no tax increase."?

Sullivan is circling the drain in an ever-tightening spiral. Coriolis has him now...

SOME OF THE MANY LIES OF SARAH PALIN
- She has lied about the Bridge To Nowhere. She ran for office favoring it, wore a sweatshirt defending it, and only gave it up when the federal congress, Senator McCain in particular, went ballistic. She kept the money anyway and favors funding Don Young's Way, at twice the cost of the original bridge.
- She has lied about her firing of the town librarian and police chief of Wasilla, Alaska.
- She has lied about pressure on Alaska's public safety commissioner to fire her ex-brother-in-law.
- She has lied about her previous statements on climate change.
- She has lied about Alaska's contribution to America's oil and gas production.
- She has lied about when she asked her daughters for their permission for her to run for vice-president.
- She has lied about the actual progress in constructing a natural gas pipeline from Alaska.
- She has lied about Obama's position on habeas corpus.
- She has lied about her alleged tolerance of homosexuality.
- She has lied about the use or non-use of a TelePrompter at the St Paul convention.
- She has lied about her alleged pay-cut as mayor of Wasilla.
- She has lied about what Alaska's state scientists concluded about the health of the polar bear population in Alaska.

I'm unaware of any lies she has been proven to have told.
She lied about her involvement in efforts to get that state trooper fired.

"I told the Congress, 'Thanks but no thanks,' on that bridge to nowhere."
Actually she ran for Governor on a platform that included getting back the congressional earmark for the bridge.
There, that was easy.

WBestPresidentEver spewed the powerful rejoinder, "PROVE IT !!!!!!!"
ahhhhh.. wingnuttery, so entertaining.

Wow.. Slide and Todd. I think you forgot a few things. rape kits blah blah blah..
Most of that has been disproved but it would disrupt your reality so you ignore it.

I think the only thing on that list that might fairly be called a 'lie' is what Alaskan scientists said about the polar bear, all the rest of them have been pretty well disproven or at the very least, they come under the category of typical politician word shading.
You know, kind of like Obama saying that the stimulus was first going to create a few million jobs and then saying that it was going to 'save or create' jobs and now, well, he hasn't said much about the jobs the stimulus hasn't created, now has he????????

Todd, Steve, and Slide are such hilarious puppets. They can see lies everywhere when Palin speaks, but they insist that Obama never says anything but the absolute truth.
You have to love these people. They were claiming on Friday that Palin was under Federal indictment. Now that the FBI has come out and said that nothing of the sort is happening, they're screaming and spinning about how awful Palin is.
Pure projection. They see lies everywhere because that's exactly what they're telling.
