Live and learn. I learned some sad truths about many liberals today all the way back in college.
I've had a hard week. Still dealing with some extenuating circumstances with the Plague year, and I've been shaken to the core in my beliefs about America and the rules of engagement with Liberals.

oh give me a break. Stop all you whining. This is what that poor poor vicitim had to say in this blog, "When Andrew Sullivan forced Governor Palin to step down by his continual (and unrelenting) attacks"
So Andrew Sullivan forced Palin to step down? lol... If that is the case that says a hell of a lot more about Palin than it does about Sullivan. The writer laments about living in Sullivan's America. What a freaking crok of shit.
Do you guys remember what it was like in the Clinton years? The relentless attacks from day one? The Mellon-Scaife funded attacks? The Jerry Falwell "clinton is a murderer" tapes? The talk about the death of Vince Foster? The Hillary is a lesbian? The jokes about Chelsea's father being Janet Reno? How many vile books were written about Clinton. Guys you even have a whole publishing house that does nothing but print hatchet jobs on liberals. Do you remember? But oh my, oh dear, poor little ole' Sarah is being attacked?
What a bunch of little girl wussies the right is.

What's a Plague year?

And again, Slide whines and screams about how attacks on Obama Party politicians are awful, but fully endorses and supports attacks on Palin's family. Sort of like how he called Samuel Alito a racist, but claimed that Sonia Sotomayer is not, even though he says she was saying the same thing.
No principles, no values, no morals. If Slide were actually principled, he would have to condemn Barack Obama and the Obama Party for publicly stating that families were "fair game".

But of course, he doesn't.

Just remember what "slide" is and that it comes in a tube.
BTW, Dan, JSF may be wrong about Boy Andy's citizenship. I believe Sullivan became a naturalized citizen something like twenty tears ago, yes?
JSF, otherwise, has Sullivan down perfectly. Boy Andy lost me eight or so years ago when it had become obvious that he had rejected Britain's caste system, not for Natural Law and Liberty, but for an elitist meritocracy. He may, in British terms, be somewhat "conservative" but those rules don't apply here. On this side of the creek he's just an egotistical authoritarian hack. If Boy Andy has any adult libertarian creds, I'd sure like to know what they are.
I don't get the weird obsession with Palin, though. It's not just Sullivan. I know and have read a lot of people who think positively of her, but no-one with a degree of fan-fervor to match the neurotic hatred we see from wacks on the Left. You whisper "pay-linnn" and the deranged barking howls. [Note Preparation "S", above.]
Perhaps it has to do with the Left's utter rejection of Natural Law in a Judeo-Christian context - and thus anyone who, like Palin, represents the ideal of Ordered Liberty. Perhaps in Sullivan's case it is compounded with a weird kink in the Diva Worship phenomenon. I don't know - I stopped reading Sullivan altogether in 2003.

I believe, but I am not positive, that Sullivan is not a citizen and has to leave because he is HIV positive.
I wonder how he is treated in the UK as an Irishman.

So Slide was Hillary and the dems whining about the "Vast Right wing conspiracy"?
Posted by: anony mouse | Thursday, July 09, 2009 at 08:55 PM
Oh North Dallas 30 your lying again. liar liar pants on fire. Please show me where I called Alito a racist. Your comment, "Sort of like how he [Slide] called Samuel Alito a racist" is an out an out lie. Seems to come quite natural to you. Please, I'll wait where you show me my quote where I even said anything bad at all about Samuel Alito.

"So Slide was Hillary and the dems whining about the "Vast Right wing conspiracy"?"
Not like the whinning Palin who blames the media, bloggers, photoshop, David Lettermen, elites, NY Times, Alaska Democrats, and Katie Couric for making her stamp her feet, hold her breath and quit her bad bad job.

The post that Dan links to is such a piece of whining, disengenuous crap, that it goes hand-in-glove with a phony like Palin herself. Just to put things in perspective, a liberal blogger today -- Digby -- pointed out that Hillary and Bill Clinton had actually been accused of murdering someone (Vince Foster), which was duly investigated and reported upon by Ken Starr during the never-ending witch hunts of the Clinton presidency. Despite all of the persecution that Palin's partisans constantly claim, has Palin yet been accused of or investigated for anything remotely in the ballpark of murder? Any criticism of Palin has yet to even reach the level that Hillary Clinton (aka "The Bitch" in the words of one McCain supporter) has faced almost continuously during her years in the spotlight. And after less than a year of it, Palin has already bailed out. If you can't stand the heat . . .
But for my part, I'm just tired of the dishonesty that seems to constantly swirl around Palin and her B.S.-ing supporters. Your sense of aggrievement and your claims of victimization are such a steaming load. Especially for a political movement that relies so much on nastiness, personal attacks and mean-spiritedness, your apparent unawareness of your own hypocrisy becomes even more striking.

Now that dude is a serious whiner. The one non whiny comment is lame too. Palin worked her way up the ladder? Gringich's PAC funded her hitpiece mailers calling out her mayoral opponent as a pro-abortion. What in tarnation does a mayor have to do with abortion?
There was one good point - Sullivan should at least take the day off from the Palin criticism. But quit whinin dude!

Hey, Ran and Rob, if you're unable to participate in a mature discussion, at least try not to look like a couple of idiots when the big boys are talking. Now take your Sarah action dolls and go back up to your rooms, and please don't tell us what you do with them up there.

Bob, it has something to do with starbursts I think.

"Bob, it has something to do with starbursts I think."
Yeah, it's like some sort of school-girl crush on a rock star or something. It makes you suspect that they'd burst in to tears if they managed to get ahold of a blade of grass that she stepped on. All I can say is, "Ewwww."
