This is what happens when parents aren't allowed to spank their kids... and also when parents neglect their children by spoiling them without any discipline.

The Singaporeans got it right: that whole family should be caned, or perhaps subject to the Biblical punishment of 39 lashes with a flogging whip.

I don't know that it is so much a lack of spanking per se, as it is a lack of punishment and the now monolithic tendency to blame the bad behavior of one's children on other people.

Dan forgot to mention though that this piece of trash, who has previously been convicted of robbery using a gun for stealing someone's dog at gunpoint is only getting a YEAR in jail for breaking into someone's apartment, trashing it, stealing from it and then killing a kitten in the most horrific way imaginable. A year in jail.

One can only hope that some of the prisoners are animal lovers and that she might get some real punishment before she gets out, ready to pump out some more sociopaths and goes on the future crime spree that is undeniably in her future.

I think its fair to say we now have in Ms Terry a perfect candidate for health czar in the new Obama plan to save on health care costs.

"only getting a YEAR in jail"

While not positive, I suspect that may be because she is 17. Technically, she is a minor and gets a new life at 18. With it, she will likely promptly kill someone. But that is our system as it stands.
