Oba-TV On ABC: Flop!

My, my, my. Such a pressing issue that we must not wait, we can't afford to hesitate, government has to act ... and act now. Television viewers acted. They changed the channel, yielding ratings on par with some 8 p. m. comedy repeats. Maybe they thought the Oba-Special was just a replay of Hillary-care, or a look back at Jimmy Carter? Whatever the case, it was a ratings fail.

President Obama's town hall meeting on health care delivered a sickly rating Wednesday evening.

The one-hour ABC News special "Primetime: Questions for the President: Prescription for America" (4.7 million viewers, 1.1 preliminary adults 18-49 rating) had the fewest viewers in the 10 p.m. hour. The special tied some 8 p.m. comedy repeats as the lowest-rated program on a major broadcast network.

"Bones" is fun on ABC, but I haven't watched their 'news' programs for a couple of decades. I'm pretty sure I haven't missed much.
I'm still trying to figure out how Obama got the rep as a gifted speaker.
