A buddy from the Levin fan site has some extended audio up from Monday's Levin Show, I believe. It's focused on Obama and Iran and Mark points out the need to get your news from alternate sources if you want to be fully informed and up to date. About 25 mins. long and available here.
Marks advice on the news is sound and it's great to see more and more prominent voices supporting new media in its now many forms. But, let's face it, such things need to be qualified, there are some wastelands out here. I doubt Sullivan's preoccupation with Palin's pregnancy qualifies as a reliable news alternative and other blogs often suck, as well.
I've seen analysis from people who claim to have done hours of research, even as to Mark's show, for instance - and not had much to say about the vast majority of his content. It's still very much buyer beware out here and one has to learn who to avoid based upon one's experience, I suppose.
I'll be on Rick Moran's blog radio show between 8 - 9 tonight with Stacy McCain and Jimmy Bise to discuss the IG scandal. It's important not to lose our focus on hard news, especially with all the fluffers, I mean, fluff out here. That show link here.
Let's hope Mark doesn't mind the ratings hit from Rick, Stacy, Jimmy and me. LOL I wish.
Marks audio available via first link above.

Iraqi democracy will succeed -- and that success will send forth the news, from Damascus to Teheran -- that freedom can be the future of every nation. The establishment of a free Iraq at the heart of the Middle East will be a watershed event in the global democratic revolution. ...
In Iran the demand for democracy is strong and broad … The regime in Tehran must heed the democratic demands of the Iranian people, or lose its last claim to legitimacy."
George W. Bush discussing the effects of victory in Iraq, November 6, 2003.

I think Coner has got the hint, and has moved on... to being the "conservo-libertarian" water boy for Randy Andy and the liberal rag he's been hired by.
