Via Michael Totten: Read and watch the video. I'm not prepared to say this is it for the regime. It depends on what cards they are willing to play. This could end with successful counter-revolution, or mass slaughter. And if Carter hadn't been the weak, misguided President he was, it wouldn't have been necessary. This is also the regime Obama couldn't wait to say he would talk to despite election irregularities. Insurrection Day 2 and Carter 2, as well.
But this time everything turns out differently. The policeman shouts, but the man doesn’t run. He just stands there, looking at the policeman. It’s a cautious look, still tinged with fear, but at the same time tough and insolent. So that’s the way it is! The man on the edge of the crowd is looking insolently at uniformed authority. He doesn’t budge. He glances around and sees and sees the same look on other faces. Like his, their faces are watchful, still a bit fearful, but already firm and unrelenting. Nobody runs though the policeman has gone on shouting; at last he stops. There is a moment of silence.

If Rev. Wright gave Obama a Bible, The One had better crack it open to Daniel 5:25...
And this is the writing that was written: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPARSIN. This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE, God hath numbered thy kingdom and finished it. TEKEL, Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. PERES, Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.

Harsh random blows from the Iranian police on the young citizens- using clubs that can damage a body for a lifetime. I fear that brute force will win out.
